This drama had some really awesome fight scenes..but if you believe that there will be mostly fighting, then you…
Many of the main and supporting characters die. In this drama, Wallace doesn´t have any luck regarding romance, his first love misunderstand and betrays him with his best friend and his second big love dies in his arms.
As far as I remember romance is a part of this drama, but not the main focus. The last scene is telling, because he walks away alone, stronger because of all that happened, but still he is alone, all his family members and loved ones are either dead or not a part of his live anymore.
What a mess!!!!
I only started watching this lakorn because I saw the ending song, loved it and kept hoping that there would be a positive change in the screenplay.
I couldn´t have been more wrong, beating en masse, rape, no real romantic scene between the main couple...
My suggestion: Skip, really skip this one. I would give this lakorn minus points if it were possible.
This was a nice lakorn, the main couple has great chemistry, it is not stretched too long..but sometimes things happened to fast, and I was left wondering if I missed something, if they cut some things.
And most of all, some sweet kisses that don´t make you cringe. :-)
I really wanted to like this drama, most of all because there was finally another drama with a BL theme...but seriously, I can´t stomach Knock...his behaviour is too selfish and oftentimes in my eyes too unreasonable..how Korn´s and Knock´s relationship lastet so long is a miracle for me.
I much rather watch something else than get my blood pressure up because of Knock.
So far I have watched the first 8 episodes. I liked Yang Zi in "Battle of Changsha"....but the character she plays here---has to be one of the most loud!!! and most unlikable female leads that I have ever seen...either she is screaming her head off, shouting or swinging her bag around like a weapon...As a woman I have to say I feel deeply ashamed, when I see female characters like her.
I am only hanging on to this drama because of Qiao Zhen Yu and the hope Yang Zi´s character will grow during the next episodes.
It has been some years since I watched this drama, but yesterday I found it again and rewatched it. I was quite surprised that I liked this drama quite a lot this time. This really is a drama with mature adults and not one with people squabeling like preschoolers where only once own feelings are important and not the other ones one is supposedly in love with.
I liked it how it portrayed the difficulty of being in a longterm relationship and then falling in love with someone else..how you see the struggle of all involved parties
This is really not a faced paced drama desptite some action scenes...
Finally we also have a second male lead that acts honorably when he doesn´t get the girl.
The main couple has amazing chemistry.
This drama´s slow rhythm and atmosphere reminds me a little of Winter Sonata.
Do drama screenwriters have a contract with tissue companies O_O I mean seriously...what is the percentage of dramas where one main character will die because of a disease during the next 6 months or so O_O it has to be at least 65%.
I will put this drama on-hold, to see whether she will really die or not. I am still hopeful that she won´t, because this drama has some great actors that I would love to see act again.
So far I like this novel adaptation...but the kisses really annoy me so far...if you do not want to show "passionate" or "real" kisses....please choose a different camera angle and give us the illusion of it..but scenes, where the poor guy tries to show great kisses..but his counterpart the woman just stands there like a block of wood, just kills the mood!
Instead of looking forward to the kiss scenes..now, I am dreading them.
This movie really tries to follow the original story..but with a limitted amount of time for a movie it cut some things and oftentimes felt rushed. I was able to follow, because I read the novel. They chose to show some of my favourite moments from the novel-
To be honest, I expected more, the ending felt lacking and was nothing new..they should have tried to stay true to the story and not write this ending that has been seen so often.
I really do wonder, whether or not the movie version I saw was cut.
As of now..for the ones that read the novel...I recommed the drama more than the novel...while the CG is better here..I love the portrayal of Xiao Nai more in the drama version.
I am so in love with this drama...the acting from a lot of the cast is way better than I anticipated and I love the OST.
I just watched ep 3 raw...and just can´t get over the fighting scene during the last part of ep 3...Lee Joon Ki owns the screen as soon as he appears!!! I can´t get enough of watching his acting and fighting scenes...I have to rewatch the last part just for him.
I really really love this drama...the main couple has amazing chemistry and it was so wonderful to finally watch a drama, where you see the couple grow together and that they also don´t break up, get together and break up again and also finally where there is no real love triangle, just people.
Ok..I am really getting more and more annoyed and disappointed with this drama version..it started out really good, but the storyline and more over the Chiwa character is just getting worse and worse..in the manga, she was pretty clear about her feelings...there was only Hokuto...but here..after seeng the preview for ep 11..she really strings along other men...if you are married and in love..then you won´t get this close to another man..moreover when he leans down to kiss you...and you don´t just stand there and let it happen..argh....I thought the Miskai plotline was finally over..but after the preview it doesn´t seem so.
They really made a mess of a great and funny manga.
I have just watched ep 1..and so far it really hasn´t been that good...some of the lines were so cheesy and over the top that I really felt bad for the actors that had to say them.
I will watch the next ep in the hope that it will get better...but only because of Mark...
Yes..because then you will be able to connect more to the characters and also if you watch the uncut version of Scarlet Heart 2, you will recognize some flashbacks and some things that otherwise won´t make any sense.
Please everyone who watches those vids, please don´t steal them and upload them somewhere else..because then they might stop subbing. I know subbers that stopped subbing a lakorn because of this.
