I liked this drama...but for a drama with the word "vampire" in it...I was missing the vampire side from our main character..you didn´t see how he aquried blood, if he needs much of it...and if there are other side effects of the serum he was injected with.
The ending screams second 2 and I really hope that there will be one..because for me, the whole drama seems to be like the introduction or prologue for another story / drama.
This is also one of my favourite dramas and a really good novel adaptaton..there are so few of them...
I watched the drama after reading the novel...so it was easier to understand Mo Sheng´s drastic change of character from her youth...I love how the drama fleshed out the novel a lot more...although I do have to admit I wish that the kissing scenes were more passionate, they are an important part in the novel and drama..I really do like Tang Yang...but in most of her dramas...she looks stiff as a board in her kissing scenes...poor male actors.
Wallace Chung really is the embodiment of He Yi Sheng..aww...I can´t get enoug of him.
This is one lakorn, that I enjoyed watching one.time, but won´t watch again. All actors played their roles well. I loved James and his character, but Kimberley´s Anusaniya was just too distrusting and too easily deceived by others...this put me off.
This drama really seems to split the viewers...they either really like this drama or they dislike it immensely or were disappointed.
I have to say, that I belong to the group that sat there watching and wondered what went wrong...This drama had so many good actors...I really liked them in other roles...but here...they seemed so dull..Kim Kang Woo didn´t appear any different than in other dramas..were he played the bad boy...For me...I didn´t see any kind of chemistry between Lee Jin Wook and Moon Chae Won...I really wanted to see it...but were was the development of their relationship? I am really scratching my head in wonder...Lee Jin Wook facial expressions and his smile seemed too forced....
There were some really great moments...but they just disappear when thinking about the plotholes...either the script was written bad...or sudden changes had to be made...or the editing was simply really really bad....
I was so looking forward to this drama...but I had to drop it after 9 episodes.
I wish them luck in their next drama...but this is one is not for me.
I was lucky to find this movie with english subs...it is a cute movie, but I wasn´t able to connect with the…
Well..you can watch it on dramacool..but be aware that the grammar is not really good..but you will get the gist of the story..then..there is a team on viki subbing it..but they have not finished it yet..someone also subbed the cut version of this drama with really good subs..but do not watch the cut version...because lots of things won´t make sense and the drama will feel off.
How does this compare with Nirvana in Fire? I know it is a completely different series, but I'm quit curious if…
I really love both dramas..but they are both quite different...Nirvana in Fire has this epic atmosphere...the cinematography..the music..the actors..the plot...I would give it a 20 if I could instead of a ten...
Battle of Changsha is like some others mentioned based on facts...which makes it more personal...even more so, because of the characters..the family this drama revolves around and also because of the love story...
Battle of Changsha shows more what war is like...Nirvana always feels more political to me....BoC ends on a happier not with a HE for the main couple...while Nirvana leaves it to the imagination of the viewer what happens after the last scene..
The plot is solid..and there was no moment were I was cringing because of bad acting...all actors were chosen carefully for their respective roles....there are no boring moments..mhm..for me...it doesn´t have the feeling of a melodrama..more a war and family drama.
I am so glad I waited to watch this drama until it finished airing. I was quite unsure whether or not I should watch it, because I am not a fan of dramas with terminal sicknesses....
But I love it!!! I love that the scriptwriters didn´t make it about the illness...but about the people...I was almost crying constantly..but still...it felt heartwarming...I love the note on which it ended...
I also admit that I didn´t expect to like both leads as a couple...but wow...they were simply awesome in their respective roles and had great chemistry.
This drama has me scratching my head...there are really nice action and fighting scenes, lots and lots of breathtaking scenes...I loved Song Joon Ki´s character Yoo Shi Jin and the second couple..but I couldn´t totally warm up to Kang Mo Yeon...
The plot...well there wasn´t a lot..and then there were times..were I thought I was watching a makjang drama...eg episode 14 and not a romance-action drama.
I really like this drama..but for all the hype..I expected more.
I have watched the first 2 eps and so far I am not really impressed...the acting was so so...the costumes were also mediocre..some were even hilarious..and for all the money spent..the CGI effects could have been a lot better..I will keep on watching and hope that it will get better..after all..this drama has 60 episodes.
This is one of my all time favourites..no matter how often I watch it..I love the soundtrack and the acting...I love the relationships between all people..Ha Ji Won and Kim Min Joon were amazing.
I watched this drama several years ago when I first started watching lakorns...back then, I didn´t like this drama very much...but for some reason it stayed in my mind. Yesterday I rewatched it again..and despite all the cliches...I have to admit, that today, I do like it.
If you can get over the fact that the main male lead is a lot older then the female lead...then you might enjoy this lakorn.
The music is beautiful and the acting was also really good. But sadly, for me, Janie and Mettarikanon Pongsakorn have zero chemistry.
This is one of those dramas, that I watch one time, am satisfied after watching the last episode, but have no interest in watching it again.

I loved the first ep.
