I didn´t expect much and then loved the film. It is nothing new. It is simply a heartwarming love-story. If you want to have a good time without jealousy or love triangles, but you want to feel good after watching a movie, then this is the film for you. I will rewatch this when I want to have a girl´s night with good chocolate and a glass of wine.
I loved the first ep..snd I really do hope that people won´t steal the subbed eps again...like Kol Kimono...where the subbers droppes the lakorn because of it.
I have to agree with a lot of the comments here. At first I liked this version, but soon I noticed that they changed the script and many scenes felt too rushed. In my opinion Jirayu wasn´t bad..just that his role lacked the depth of the original one...I have seen Yaya in many lakorns and liked her in a lot of them...but somehow..her acting in this lakorn reminded me of so many other lakorns where she portrayed a bratty character. It didn´t stand out.
Watch the old version. That is one lakorn that never gets old.
I had high hopes for this drama. Most of all because of Jang Hyuk. I have watched 12 episodes, but somehow I can´t warm up to this drama...it is draggy..at first I thought alright..this drama has 36 eps.it might take some time..but seriously...there is no character that speaks to me...it drags and drags and drags...this drama feels lifeless to me. I will put it on hold and wait till it has finished airing to see whether it will redeem itself in my eyes or not.
After being somewhat disappointed with the beginning of this lakorn it got somewhat better...to be honest, I only finished this, because of Puttichai Put and because I wanted to know if Wan Neung would lose her childish ways...well...she did.. a little little bit.
This is an ok lakorn, but not one I would recommend.
I am really liking what I have seen so far in the first 3 episodes. Yes, the drama hasn´t been one that showed lots and lots of pink clouds...instead it´s atmosphere was somewhat somber..but I like this..
When I saw the trailer I thought..ahhh just another historical drama with a sad ending..and wondered whether I should watch it or not.
I can´t tell you, how glad I am that I did. This is the best!!!!! Chinese historical drama ever. If I could..I would give this drama 15 or 20 points, instead of the possible 10.
This drama is perfect, the acting, the soundtrack, the editing, the way it was directed....
I could spend hours and hours gushing over it.
If you haven´t watched it yet, then do so!
OMG...another remake that is just bad..bad bad....they changed the story from the original one..the synposis above might fit for the old version...but not for this one. The female lead is such an ungreatful person..ahhhhh....Akhazzan Gundon...is wasted here!!!! If you think the female lead will end up with him...then you will be disappointed. Watch something else and skip this one!!!
I have just watched the first episode and am in awe.
I had no real idea what this drama was about and so no expectations....this is one of the best J-dramas I have watched in a long time. The dry Japanese humour...the superior acting...humour, heartbreak, life are there throughout the first episode...one minute I was laughing...then I was near tears and then suddenly I had to laugh again.
Amami Yuki and Sawamura Ikki do a fantastic job portraying their respective characters..especially Amami Yuki...all those thoughts...all those bottled up emotions...this is what I call acting!
Each part of this series has something that I love to rewatch. In this last movie I love the ending part..when they bark into the closed off room and shoot...the song and the way it was shot is beautiful.and the cameradine shown between Inoue and Ogata....I love how it ends.
One thing I like about this whole series is, how everything comes together in the end...yes..there are some things that I would like to have answered..but this can also be seen as a kind of charm...because it makes you think and wonder about things you have seen in the drama and the movies.
The first half consists of flashbacks, but the secon half is what makes this part in the SP series different to the others...it shows us a little glimpse of their lifes beside their work, their human side. I like this a lot.
This is one of my favourite Japanese dramas...it gets never old, no matter how often I watch it.
If you are looking for great fight and action scenes, then don´t miss out on this one!
Ahh..now I have finally watched it, and I love!!!! it. :-) It is a wonderful continuation of the first movie and has the same athmosphere as the first movie and the anime.
Hehe...I love Dojo´s little slip up near the end of the movie..so cute.
Now, I am looking forward to the next movie.
