I was really, really looking forward to this remake. The older version is one of my favourites. But after having watched the first 4 episodes, I have to say that I am somewhat disappointed. The first episodes felt rushed and a lot of the actors and actresses were poorly chosen for their respective roles.
I have liked Theppitak Sornram in many lakorns, but who chose his wardrobe here O_O the wardrobe and most of all this HUGE goldring make him look a lot older...I am missing the charm, the little eye twinkle that Tik showed in the older version..this Tun Chai Pote Preecha just seems boring...and were is the spunk in the girl that portrays Prissana??
I really hope that this lakorn will get better.
Kel Alice and Huang Tender do have chemistry, but it never had the chance to shine. In my opinion the script seemed forced...there was no moment of real excitement..and when they had other partners..it didn´t seem real. I liked the last 5 minutes the best, because it showed a glimpse of what this drama could have been.
Wow, just plain wow O_O there are bad dramas and then there are bad dramas...I am so glad I left this ship early on..even though I sometimes took a peak..or read some episode reviews because I hoped that the drama would take a turn for the better...but I am so glad that I stopped watching when I did. It is really too bad, because I liked Park Sun Young in "Immortal Classic", and had thought that her last drama "Crazy Love" was just bad luck..but now I am seriousy wondering what makes her pick the dramas she acted in...I really hope that Hyun Woo Sung will get a better offer in the future, because he was wasted in this drama.
I guess if you like dramas like "Crazy Love" or "Princess Aurora", then this might be the drama for you, but to all others I say: Skip this one.
This is one of my favourites Chinese dramas!! I don´t understand a lot of Chinese or Japanese..but I was able…
Sadly no...:-( there are no idoles in this drama and this drama is definitely a mature drama, so I gather that not many know about it or would be interested in subbing it..
This drama has some good moments, but then it is all over the place..the editing is very often choppy..a lot of the characters weren´t convincing...there was chemistry between our OTP....but either because of the editing or the storyline...it wasn´as convincing as it could have been.
Too bad, because Park Hae Jin and Gan Ting Ting are great actors.
This is the best modern daily drama!! I have rewatched it already 3 times. It never gets boring or aggrevating like so many other day dramas, where you constantly have the urge to clobber the characters over the head.
This is definitely one of the better daily dramas,..even one of my favouite 5 daily dramas...yes there were some often used plots ...but I really liked the acting from most of the cast...and finally we have a male lead that knows what he wants and doesn´t jump from one woman to another..he had the patience of a saint...the female lead wasn´t a character which I would describe as easy likable...but she grew on me with all her faults and vulnerabilities...I even cried a few times...this is one drama, I will rewatch in the future.
This drama had a good start and I really liked it until around episode 45..the drama got more and more predictable..and something is definitely wrong, if I can guess the whole drama, as if I had written it myself...come on writers..really? the sick family member, the forced miscarriage, the fake pregnancy, the breakup...it would be a real novel idea...even if they decide to use the fake pregnancy, that the main couple stays together and doesn´t break up..but this is probably not possible in the conservative Korea and even more so for a daily drama.
Most of the times I tend to skim through the first 40-50 episodes in a daily drama and then to like the later episodes..this time it was the other way around.
If you are really bored and love the often and I do mean often used stereotypes in Korean dramas, then this is the drama for you..otherwise I suggest to find another drama.
Wonderful drama!! A second season would be great. This is another fine example of a Japanese drama and also that sometimes shorter dramas are a lot better than dramas with over 30 episodes.
How important is Jiro Wang's character in here? I really like him, and whether I watch this or not depends on…
He is only a side character..I didn´t find his role that important here..just the plain old male role that has been in love with the female lead but doesn´t stand a chance.
The drama started really good...but halfway it had some of the often used plotlines and in my opion the drama suffered from it...why can´t there be a female lead that sticks to her own feelings and thoughts and doesn´t want to give up in favour of someone else?..it is plain annoying!
This is one of the best Taiwanese dramas in the last years!! I am not really a fan of Wang Kingone...but I really like him here...the main OTP has great chemistry, the relationship doesn´t develop too fast or too slow and the drama isn´t over the top.
The Idea for this lakorn sounded interesting, there were some funny scenes...but I didn´t believe the romance story...there was no chemistry between the OTP..and I often skipped ahead.
Thank you so much for this article. I have to confess that the drama I love to watch the most with Joo Jin Mo is "Bicheonmu".
I love Lee Bum Soo since I watched him in "Surgeon Bong Dal Hee"- :-)
