I am so glad that I stopped watching after 8 episodes and waited to see the rest after it finished airing, because I didn´t want to waste again time on a drama whith a disappointing ending...after having read the recaps, I am so glad I did. There are enough dramas out there with a sad ending..why did this have to be another one...waste of good actors.

I loved this drama..lots of action..and the side characters were not boring or too annoying. The main couple had great chemistry. If you love spy dramas and lots and lots of gunfights..then try this drama. :)

This drama had its good but also its draggy moments. Each character was well thought out...and I really loved the main couple..to be honest Luo Jin and Tang Tiffany made me watch the whole drama..otherwise I would have probably dropped it. But why oh why are there s many Chinese dramas where either the male or female lead will die? :-(
This drama left on a somewhat hopeful happy ending.

This is one of my favourites Chinese dramas!! I don´t understand a lot of Chinese or Japanese..but I was able to follow the storyline. This drama has a great cast and great story and also finally there is a war drama with a happy ending!! I have rewatched it already 3 times and it never gets old. This drama has lots of little details that are important and will sometimes play a vitale role in later episodes.
If you want to watch an intelligent drama with some great fight and action scenes and also finally a female lead that shows intelligence and which you don´t want to clobber over her head because of stupidity, then you should definitely watch it.

This drama had some really awesome fight scenes..but if you believe that there will be mostly fighting, then you are wrong. This drama has many quiet moments, sometimes being somewhat draggy, it is a portrait of that time period and how people changed with those turbulent times. It is not a happy drama..but it is a wonderful drama about relationships between people.. I love the intro song. Huo Wallace and the rest of the cast did a great job.

I really really wanted to like this drama..I watched the first 12 episodes..and had to push me to keep watching...the costumes, background is really stunning...but why oh why can´t I connect to the story or characters at all...I find this drama boring...yes there are lots of intrigues...but for me, there is no chemistry between the emperor and the female lead...I just can´t see or feel that they love each other...I loved Wang Luo Dan in "A Story of LaLa's Promotion!...and felt the love she had for the male lead..but not here.
Some might like this drama, but this drama is not for me.

The action scenes were really good, but despite these scenes I wasn´t able to connect with the storyline or the characters...I have to admit that I only kept watching it because of Kang Dong Won..he was simply great.

I can´t get enough of this movie. There is not a lof of story, but this movie doesn´t need it. The cinography, the edting, the acting, the music...the arteful way this movie is presented is more than enough...It gets never boring and every time I watch it, I notice something new..Ha Ji Woon and Kang Dong Won have amazing chemistry...I would love to see them both together in another movie again.

I didn´t expect much..but I was wrong...I have just watched the first 7 eps and am loving the drama. I really hope it the next episodes will be the same standard.

I was really reluctant to watch this drama and waited till it ended because I wanted to watch a drama with a HEA after so many sad ones ..I am so glad that I waited!!! It would have driven me crazy to wait for the next episodes. This drama was simply amazing..one of the best K-dramas in a really really long time...I recommend it to all who haven´t watched it yet. I am definitely going to rewatch it.

Liked the preview, but I really hope that this will have a HE and that this is not another drama where they love each other but can´t be together.

The best K-drama I have watched in a long long time...everything was great, the script, the acting, OSt..everything fit...here is one drama that wasn´t made into a mess like so many other dramas that had a great start or great story in the beginning. I am so thankful that they finally made another great drama that I can rewatch and rewatch again.

This looks really promising, I really hope that someone will sub this one.

It was an ok lakorn...but I have to say..I felt somewhat unsatifsied after watching it and also that it was a waste of good actors...Boy was really good in his role and made me watch the rest of the lakorn...the role Margie had to play was really "stupid" and petty lots of times...Hope that they both will be cast again in another lakorn with a better scipt.

This lakorn had really funny moments..they 2 main couples were cute..but in my opinion, their romance wasn´t developed enough.
If you want to watch something light..then I recommend this lakorn.

Finally a great a J-drama! Loved the first ep..Ikuta Toma and Ikuta Toma were great...and acted really convincing...I am looking forward to the next episodes.

I was really looking forward to this movie, but I agree with others..there is no chemistry between the 2 leads..and the movies feels like a row of pictures, but not like a story that you don´t want to end.

The first time I watched it, I really liked it a lot...but now I rewatch this drama only for the Yang Tae Sub and Kyung Soo couple...I skip everything else...I hope that there will be more open minded movies and dramas in the future.

No matter how many times I watch this drama, I fall in love with it each time and am sad to let go of it at the end. One of my alltime favourites...awesome acting, beautiful OST, everything fits!!
