I have watched the first 8 episodes..so far I am having mixed feelings...Puttichai Put is really great in this more somber and mature role...but Gypso is simply too childish and silly...there is nothing about her character that I find endearing or likable...I really hope that she will grow up in the next 2 episodes...because right now...there is no way that Gypso and Put make a believable couple...so far there hasn´t been much chemistry between those 2.
The first time I watched it, I didn´t care that much for this lakorn. After having watched many other lakorns and finally rewatching this lakorn with a better video quality changed my mind.
I love this lakorn now! I love the music and also the costumes and all those beautiful fabrics. Yes...the "horror" scenes need some getting used to...and I will probably fast forward these a little the next time I will watch this lakorn...but this is still one of my favourites. The main OTP have beautiful chemistry and finally there is a male lead that doesn´t believe what other people tell him about his love interest, but he thinks a little bit and decides his course of action.
I really like your article. You voiced something that has been on my mind since I started watching Asian dramas and most of all lakorns. There are so many lakorns which have a great storyline..and then suddenly there are one or more rape scenes. I find it horrifying that in many dramas and most often in lakorns...the rape victim ends up with the rapist and they "live happily ever after" or the rape of the female antagonist is shown as a punishment that she deserved.
I still remember how aghast I was when I watched one of my first K-dramas and saw how often the people beat each other in one form or another..and all those water throwing scenes. O_O
It doesn´t matter how great the storyline is..those scenes where the women is pulled away by her wrist..and she doesn´t fight it..but just gets pulled away like some doll without her own thoughts and feelings...argh..
I can´t get enough of this film. I have watched it countless times. The emotions are so raw in this film...they always get to me...this movie feels like real life...
Bryant´s acting was simply superb...and Chang Joseph was also really great..
I highly recommend this movie!!
I wanted to like this drama a lot..I am a huge So Ji Sub fan...but I couldn´t connect to the characters..it was nice to watch, but that was it...for me, there was no chemistry between him and Kim Ji Won.
At first,I liked the drama, but it wasn´t something really special....but episode 12-16, especially 12 and 13. were so good, that I changed my mind. This is one of the best Korean crime dramas...Seo In Guk´s, Choi Won Young´s and Park Bo Gum´s performance was amazing...especially when they smiled....their smile was very often disturbing, frightening or just scary....really great acting.
I really love that this drama didn´t end the usal way K-dramas often do....now I really want to rewatch it and see all those small things that I missed the first time.
Ji Jia Wei was one of the best male characters in a TW drama..finally someone that states clearly what he feels and thinks, doesn´t string women along or is undecisive...Tang Danson was really really good in this role.
But I have to say that the character Guan Xiao Tong really had me grinding my teeth lots of times. She only tries to help others and "cure" them..even her boyfriend...I couldn´t really warm up to her because it was pretty obvious that she always pushed others away and put all the blame on her respective boyfriend...I had hoped that she would grow up sooner...The OTP had great chemistry..but the drama still felt draggy.
This is one of my favourites Chinese dramas!! I don´t understand a lot of Chinese or Japanese..but I was able…
I´d say the genres are suspense, intelligent drama, martial arts, action, historical, subtle romance...as this drama shows the time, when the Japanese tried to get a footholt in China and tried to gain more power and were not really gentle about it and the Chinese "rebels" that wanted them to leave. It has a happy ending, that is one reason why I love this one. :-)
I have to say it is really interesting how different people view dramas..I have read the comments here and a lot of people say that they found this drama boring, or that the OTP didn´t have any chemistry..
Well, this is one of my favourite K-dramas ever..I never found it boring...in my eyes..the OTP had great chemistry and I love to see them together...I also like the ending...some complain that Yoon Hye In was a killer and should have died instead of Han Jae Hee...but they seem to forget that Han Jae Hee wasn´t innocent either.
One reason why I like this drama countless times more then Iris...here is finally a OTP that survives at the end of the drama and doesn´t get killed of.
Yes..the first 3 eps aren´t all out there, but the drama got better and better with each episode. I have rewatched it like 5 times and will rewatch it in the future.
Is Zhang Han better in this than he is in Boss and Me?
In my opinion the 2 characters he has to play are very different..the character he played in Boss and Me had his serious side, but also showed emotions...the character Zhang Han has to portray here is a closed off person, the name he has here (Coldblood) speaks for itself. I have to admit it took some time to get used to this character, but I like him here, too. In my opinion his acting is more mature...some say that he only has one or two expressions here, but I disagree, you have to pay attention and you will see different nuances.
At first I was really hesitating to watch this because of the mixed reviews, but I really loved it. I love how…
I downloaded some subs from asiatorrents, but those sub need editing, but you get the gist of the story, then there is mJ01991 on youtube who subbed the whole Chinese version and the first 8 of the international one, I really hope that he/she will also sub the rest, because I love his/her subbing.
I had jo idea what this drama was about when I started watching it...Now, I hope that there will be a second season. This drama was really funny and I loved the way it played with the notion of them becoming a couple...I really do hope that the drama will be continued with them really becoming an item...
I was really hesitating to watch this drama...was I wrong!! This drama takes my breath away, there is no boring moment and the acting is superb. I have really no idea where this drama will take us, I can´t wait to see more of it.
This is a more somber version of the original drama...I really liked the actors, but I have to say although I liked this drama, it wasn´t as heart wrenching as the original.

Xiao Jing with Zhang Jia Ming
Well, this is one of my favourite K-dramas ever..I never found it boring...in my eyes..the OTP had great chemistry and I love to see them together...I also like the ending...some complain that Yoon Hye In was a killer and should have died instead of Han Jae Hee...but they seem to forget that Han Jae Hee wasn´t innocent either.
