Wow!! There have been few lakorns that captured my attention and emotions so much like this one did. I absolutely love the first 3 episodes.
I am also quite astonished about the great chemistry between Mai and Tik..I love Mai´s character here...she has her emotional and weak side...but also a strong and confident one. I love her smile and smirk whenever she gets one over her enemies.
This seems to be a new adaption that is far better than the earlier 2005 version which I dropped because I couldn´t stomach it.

I really love the talks between Chanon and Rasa...some things made me think..and others made me realise how different cultures view things differently...like Rasan´s view of Chano´n´s mother..to be honest...I share his opinion and actions and not Rasan´s.
Like "rainruma" said...there are few stores with such well developed characters and stories like in this one.
I have just watched ep 7 raw...and I really fear..that they will make this show all about the love triangle/quadrangle...
One thing I loved about the manga was, that Shirata Misaki didn´t play such a huge role in their relationship..that it wasn´t all about her..but here...she is a constant which really annoys me.
Yes...it was quite obvious that they had to make some changes..after all there are 10 volumes..and they can´t fit everything into 12 episodes..but with this it is just another drama with a jealous and really annoying ex and a young guy that is in love with the female lead.
This is one of 2 shows that I am looking forward to weekly. I really love their talks..most of all..finally we have some characters that realise their mistakes..and do not all behave totally childish if their love isn´t reciprocated.
I really tried to watch this..most of all because of Zhang Han...but most of the lines the actors had to say were just really bad and cheesy...it felt like watching all those other fantasy-theemed-Chinese dramas...nothing new and so predictable..I fast forwarded a lot in the hope of some improvement..but there was none in my opinion.
This was a cute drama...but I can´t help myself..the last episodes..most of all ep 20 felt forced and rushed...some things didn´t make sense...
For me, this is a One-Time-Watch-Drama...sadly not one of those..that I can rewatch countless times.
This drama reminds me of "Bad Guy"...a drama which started out really great and then just went downhill...really downhill...the acting was really good...but for me, the story was lacking...I couldn´t connect to the characters anymore...I was either really annoyed with them or wanted to bash their heads together...
Too bad, I really wanted to like this drama.

I love this drama.
The soundtrack is beautiful...someone really took his time choosing all the songs that were perfect for each moment...I loved all of them, especially the instrumental pieces.
The ending scene at the restaurant was heartbreaking, but necessary...one wanted to commit and the other one was still unsure and afraid. The acting here was great, especially Gong Zheng´s portray of Hang Hang´s heartbreak..somewhat knowing and guessing, but still hoping that he is loved back the same way he loves Liang Ze..and then the knowledge, that he isn´t. It made me tear up.
I really hope that there will be a second season, because this is really a great BL drama and I hope that there will be more like it.
I was really hesitating whether to watch this or not...but I am blown away with the first 2 episodes...the acting is stellar and the plot has me really curious...
I have to say that i am quite confused...how many couples and love storylines are there in this drama O_O I saw 2 trailers..and both played in the modern world...but the first episodes happen around 100 years ago O_O
Why do they keep casting Korean actors in Chinese dramas when they do not speak the language and even say their lines in Hangul only to be dubbed over...this drama is another example and worst of all you see the dubbing doesn´t match the lip movements...
The costumes also didn´t convince me and the main character put me off this drama.
I couldn´t watch the rest and just took a look at the last episode...and am I glad, that I droppped this one. My suggestion is to watch something else.
