I am still not impressed...but the one character that steals the show is this absoutely adorable "Fire Python Tiger"...I have to say it reminds me a lot of the similar cute hellcats from the Riddick universe. I really want one for my home.
Lin Dong´s obsession with "fair maiden" is just annoying....then the next character which is just another annoying sterotype: Ying Huan Huan- "beautiful, stupid female with lots of power"..that acts before she thinks..gahh..These type of characters are not funny, instead they are aggravating.
So..after 4 eps..I will put this on-hold until all episodes have aired..Depending on the end and mostly if the main characters have grown up or not..I will watch or drop it then.
So..after all the hype...episode 1 was underwhelming....I don´t know yet if it is the character or if it is Yang Yang´s acting..but Lin Dong didn´t really convince me. For only 40 episodes, the running time for one episode with only 40 minutes actual episode is rather short. The novel has over 1000 chapters..how do they want to cram everything in these 40 episodes is beyond me. The positive side is, because the first ep was not convincing, I hope that the drama can only get better from here on out.
This is a nice, funny and easy watch. A good 7. This is a one-time-watch for me, as there is something missing in this drama. For one, I just don´t feel and see any chemistry between Lee Jun Ho and Jung Ryeo Won. Then, most of all Jang Hyuk is simply wasted in this drama. His role was nothing special and felt 2 dimensional. The ending is rushed and the 2 cut episodes are dearly missed here. I kept watching because Lee Jun Ho nails his role and I kept hoping for more plot for Jang Hyuk. The drama would have been a lot better without the forced "typical" Korean parent, that is not interested in the emotional welfare of their child, but just the connections and the amount of dollar signs in the bank account.
I did not expect to like the first episode as much as I did...There was no scene that had me cringing or fast forwarding..the acting was believable and the episode seemed well rounded. So far, this is definitely one of the better BL dramas in regards to acting and script and also the way it is shot. One thing I won´t do again, is eat or drink something while watching the next episodes...the masturbating scene came out of nowhere and I nearly spit my coffee onto my computer screen.
I really wanted to like this drama...but I give up..the characters are way too silly for me...and the storyline doesn´t bring anything new...there are some dramas with similar plots which are watchable...but this drama doesn´t engage me at all and had me cringing at many scenes....I kept forwarding and forwarding...
If I hadn´t watched the movie, which I liked, first, I would have dropped this drama. I kept watching because I waited and hoped that it would become better. It did not, for me at least. Where is the relationship and its development between Maki and Haruta?..they seem more like flat mates...I couldn´t really believe Maki´s love...and what was up with this weak breakup, the even more so strange wedding and the reunion... After hearing that the movie would be made into a drama, I had hoped for more depths for the storyline, but it disappointed.
I started watching this without expecting much and also without having read the novel. I am quite surprised how much I liked this drama. The main leads acting was good and convincing and there were no awkward or cringy moments for me. It also got never boring to watch. Yes there are no obvious "in-your-face"-BL moments, but more subtle scenes and hints and I am surprised they got away with it. I see this drama more like the prequel to their love story..and in my mind more developed between Gu Qing Pei and Yuan Yang after the end credits roles.
If you are still looking, this worked for me:http://gcinee.com/engsub-full-the-moment-%E0%B8%A3%E0%B8%B1%E0%B8%81%E0%B8%82%E0%B8%AD%E0%B8%87%E0%B9%80%E0%B8%A3%E0%B8%B2-thai-and-korean-bl/
So far I have watched 2 episodes subbed and 2 more unsubbed...I was quite sceptic about how they were going to adapt the novel...but wow...so far, I am blown away! Be it the costumes, the music and the acting...obviously they changed some things..but so far I like the changes..they also make sense.....I hope it delivers to the end...
So I have watched the first episode subbed and right now I hope that the show improves. The first ep felt somewhat disjointed and forced...and OMG..who picked the soundrack..all the songs either remind me of bad 80s workout videos or of bad commercials..
I never expected to fall in love with this drama. It is simply amazing. Here is a drama with multi-dimensional characters and most of all character growth. The acting blew me away. I never thought that there would be another drama which would hold me in awe the same way NIF did. I would love to give it 20 stars instead of the possible 10.
This is the drama that I am looking forward to each weak. I love all the characters and the actors, most of all LJG...I have been a fan of his since TBDW..but some of his later roles weren´t my cup of tea. The only thing that I am still getting used to is that LJG is so thin here..the urge to feed him keeps poping up in my head while watching this drama.
I really tried to like this movie as I remember the manga fondly.. Hirose Suzu was great in portraying her role..but I have seen Ikuta Toma act a lot better...I am aware that it is hard to cram such a long manga in a 2 hours movie.....but there is something missing..it might be the editing..which seemed dry sometimes or the plot changes....Still, there were some beautiful shots and scenes..but this will be a One-Time-Watch for me.

I don´t know which version it is, but if this is the "long" one..then I don´t know, what they want to cut, as everything seems to be important.

I watched the second one on 4udrama.com...
