Like many commented, not much development in the new episode - don't think it is because it is short.I mean they…
It would have been nice If they at least did some "research" or tried to come up with some sort of a plan. After episode 10 It feels to me like they are just moving as they go, trying to outdo themselves as a sacrifice. Basically it became full-on suicide mission ;/
I found this drama quite interesting and funny, even if it’s not very unpredictable or innovative. And even though FL can be quite annoying from time to time, she has her moments, that balance the annoying part quite well for me. Other characters are also very likeable and not too over the top. But I really need to rant this week, after watching episodes 7 and 8. One of dramas’ cliché that I truly despise with a passion is: "I'm gonna stupidly believe whatever I'm told by a killer without really using my brain to think". And for me it's the second most frustrating cliché, after "noble idiocy". And they are both present in ep 7&8. Why the writer didn't think of something more clever than this??
The incest subtext makes me uncomfortable as well. It’s almost like the writer or PD-nim (or both) have some weird fetish that reminds me of a plot of a certain Greek tragedy...
Are the people with M symbol going after 2020 YTY to prevent the success of time travel project? What exactly…
Is that really letter "M" tho? I thought it was supposed to be a Greek letter sigma... (Σ), the same way the tattoo on JinGyeom's mother neck looks like letter omega to me (Ω )... I personally think disciples of "the teacher" are trying to prevent a self fulfilling prophecy paradox, but maybe it's just me :)
I really enjoyed this drama, but the last episode could be better. I don't know If it was the editing or pacing or just the script, but last episode left me with some sourness. I think the impact created by the beginning of the episode lost its momentum towards the end. The ending didn’t make much sense for me and was a little bit anticlimactic because, in my opinion, it basically erased all the consequences of actions that happened earlier.
If not for how this episode was played out this would be a 10/10 drama, but sadly, I gave it 9/10 due to the problems in the last episode.
I've made no secrets on my girl crush on the PM. So please allow me to rant here.KTEM introduces to us two strong…
Generally I agree with you, except for the analisis of TE wordrobe choice - I think that TE preffer being confortable over beauty and did not care for feminine standards not because she is trying to "fit in with the boys". As a person with similar wordrobe choices - i honestly I dont care what men think. I just want to be confortable while doing what I like. PM did use her looks as a wepon. But it doesnt mean that because TE wasnt doing that she was insecure about herself in the feminity department.
*playing funeral march*....aaaand we are done. Horray. It's over. The trainwreck finally reached its final destination.Nothing…
The only thing that I liked in ep16 was the scene in “the flute hall” (Cheonjongo) in the night of the coup. It was surprisingly well coordinated, shot and edited. I could really feel the tension of the moment. Although I did notice that WDH momentarily shooting while holding a gun sideways xD. It made me facepalm a little. …aaand that’s it. Nothing else was satisfying. Even Shin-jae plot went down the drain. Nothing really was important in the end. And Eun-sup did not fulfill his 65th dream, it breaks my heart the most. But hey! It doesn't even matter… in the end…

Nothing made sense. The writer gets an "F" from me for worldbulding exam, although I’m quite amazed how she was able to not only throw every rule she established previously out of the window but also did it retrospectively to all of the previous episodes.
I did predict that she will try to spin it as a multiverse, but she didn’t think this through either - even this theory is managed to be contradicted through the course of the last episode.
Boring, unfulfilling ending focused mainly on the main couple with all of the other characters patched somewhere on the sidelines. Zero conclusion. Zero consequences. Zero satisfaction. It had such promise!
The plot and worldbulding of this drama is basically a trainwreck. Very aesteticly pleasing, with a lot of little gems, but still a trainwreck. The amount of inconsequences in this episode is outstanding. I wonder how it will end, because so far every theory I can think of right now just makes me rise my eyebrows in disbelief. The writer is really just trying to pick up the pieces at this point, isn't she?
YR basically become the main character of the movie "Looper", but the writer of that movie at least established…
Honestly YL idea to bring TE to the kingdom was pointless. I think the idea was to exchange TE life for the flute. But that plan backfired because it was sabotaged by the flute itself (lol). Luna plot didn't make much sense either. Why bother bringing her to Korea in the first place?
Eun-sub idea is honestly very interesting, it could work. Also YR could kill LMH waaay earlier. (Or maybe he tried but LMH was like that austrian art school reject and avoided them all?) If killing his brother was so easy, why he waited so long?
