The feelings are real Love Spell only enhanced those feelings. If you watch from the get go SY was falling for HJ and love spell just help him (as an excuse) to openly express his feelings. The girl SY saw was hallucination of HJ due to the love spell.

One living in USA will not understand the difficulties being faced by an African, just an example, why they compromise why they remain silent or why they react. Same way while watching DWY viewers from different countries do not have an experience like being lonely or bullied to the point they dropped out, will understand why HJ is like that, in desperate need to belong with her surrounding people.

Both of these are different genre to be exact. 100 Days is totally historical and Scent of a woman is Noona Romance with Kim Sun-a and Lee Dong Wook where as 100 days has Exo's DO and Nam Ji Hyun in leads with Kim Seon ho and Han So hee are SL. There is no past life stories or anything. OSTs are also very good. Just give it a try you may like them.

On Point observation I must say. This drama has so many layers that when we rewatch, we come to know there are so many clues needs to be infer while watching. Its very intelligently written drama so far and the way its presented it wont disappoint the viewers who finds DWY a pure joy like me. (The writer of this drama has under her belt 100 Days My Prince and Scent of a Women; both are one of the best dramas).

I start watching this drama without any sort of expectations. Its being a while I'm watching any kdrama because I don't like the new version of kdrama which is quite modernize. I like old school kdramas. But DWY would be one of my favorite dramas. It just blew me away. I have already rewatched all 12 episodes and its a totally same feeling when I 1st time watched it, same smile, giggle, laughter, and sadness. You see there are dramas when airing got backlash but today they are count as classics.

I doubt as they can't do that whenever they try to distant with eo they came closer. This will be a situation but some sort of problem arise and they have to team up. The most important detail under DWY synopsis is "The key to lift the curse in HJ's hand".
If we see ep 1-12 it definately suggest that it should have an happy ending.

It has so many layers and one has to infer and keep the tabs/clues for future references. For instance NY saw HJ and SY picking up cartoons outside and SY was in urge to go to bathroom due to water intake. Soon after stalker comes in the picture but we were so involve in the story couldn't comprehend of NY doing after the revelation we connect the dots and we got the answers. I think DWY will surely one of those dramas you want to binge watch. Personally I am glad I'm seeing this drama when its on air.

Its not he didn't care but he can't control his feelings for HJ. He himself tried so hard to hold back but you know he couldn't.

All I can say is HJ is desperate for people around her (She thinks herself as an outcast). She even told SY that he made her feel less lonely due to his constant contact with her despite knowing SY has a GF. These are some clues which writer left for us to understand her character.

HJ literally told SY in 1st episode when she was handling demolition job that she is doing because their colleague would say to her "Lets eat together" and find out she is an outcast. She is so desperate to be belong with surrounding people. In other scenario where she confessed her feelings to SML and got rejected. SY said mean things in return HJ said "Because nobody ever was kind to me'. I can relate to HJ as she needs people to appreciate her and be friend with her. I hope this help.

If you closely watch HJ has started feeling for ML in episode 5 when SY went with her for HJ 's father dead anniversary at sea. The disaster nullification spell they do in ep6. She cant spoke to ML and pretend because of SY's GF NY (SY cant breakup completely with NY).
