Best Drama of 2024 with strong emotions
A true masterpiece. I cannot say anything negative about it. The story is beautiful and is mostly based on intense feelings. However, be prepared that this is a very intense emotional roller coaster. During the episodes, the laughing, crying and heartbreaking parts follow each other. The most moving emotional attachments are between Li Lun and Zhao Yuan Zhou, and Zhao Yuan Zhou and Zhuo Yi Chen.Was this review helpful to you?

WATCH IT, IF YOU NEED SUGAR AND SPICE IN YOUR LIFE.There's nothing special about the story, I couldn't point out the acting performance to anyone, it's max. Shan who's more talented than the others.
Despite all this, the chemistry between the main couple works very well. The kissing scenes are crazy, and the costume drama part is the spice. A lot of scene will make the viewer thirsty in the series. Oh, and watch the uncut version, ep. 9 is wild.

This is a masterpiece, but I never want to see it again
This is a beautiful and very sad love story. Thanks to the excellent acting, all the characters have an impact on you. Chen Zhe Yuan was the only reason I started watching. But about halfway through the series, I realized that I wasn't mentally ready for his incredibly accomplished character representation.I loved the character of A'Zan and his dramatic character development. This film is a masterpiece, it’s definitely worth watching, but I never want to see it again, because after 2 weeks it still has a lot of effects on me.

I recommend it to everyone, it's a fascinating story with great actors.
A bittersweet love story with a hard earned happy ending. I'm not a big fan of the actress who plays the main character, but she played the role well. I started watching this series mainly because of Gong Jun and Liu Yu Ning, whose performance was excellent here as well. Overall, I have to say it was a great series.The story is captivating and brings tears to one’s eyes, the acting is great for all actors, the visual world is fascinating, and the music perfectly supports the mood of the drama.

The cutest lead duo ever
Li Fei and Li Jun Chen's duo is so adorable. I love both of them and their performance is great. The story is not a big deal, the visual world is the same. It’s a drama that’s worth watching because of the main characters. The silly master and his misunderstood disciple complement each other cutely. without Ever 4 this drama is only 2 or 3 points, the more I watch, the more I'm dissapointed
Good story? - not that bad, but not that good.Exciting caracters? - not really. I love the caracter of Ever 4. Kevin is hot, and a pretty good actor. Luo Bu Shi is a spoiled brat, with some sad back story, but I don't really like him. The other caracters are all forgetable for me. And Luo Bu Shi's dad is a joke.
Caracter development? - You can only sense at Ever 4's caracter.
But somehow, with the bad points, I watched it 3times now, because I'm obsessed with Ever 4. For me, without Kevin Chang, this drama would not worth to watch it.

an interesting story with good jokes, but it can not take advantage of its potential
The basic idea of the story is interesting, the main characters are quite lovable, although they have no real emotional weight. As interesting and funny as the first few episodes begin, it becomes so boring in the middle. The whole story, 3 hours 30 minutes long, 1 hour 30 minutes for me, the characters somehow became superficial, I was not particularly interested in their fate. I started it because Pei Lun Quan, but he alone is not enough to watch this show. And unfortunately, even he's playing pretty mediocre on this show, his other dramas are waaaay better. I re-watch the entire series at least once a month, or sometimes more. Love it soooooooo much. I have also started reading webtoon. It's sensational they adapted the story, the acting of Taevin and Joowan is awesome, and the chemistry is hot. When they laugh, I laugh with them, when they are sad, I cry with them. No matter how many times I've seen it, they always impress me in every episode and point me in front of the screen. I love them, and this beautiful and shocking love story so much. Im going to re-watch is for hundreds of time. I hope we will see more dramas with Taevin and Joowan toghether.Was this review helpful to you?

A love story with one of the sweetest endings I've ever seen.
A love story with a lot of misunderstandings, but with one of the cutest endings I've ever seen. Zhao Lu Si brought out the maximum of her character. Quian Quian is often annoying and, in fact, she has mostly self-inflicted problems, because she wants to stick to the original story, but overall, she's a very lovable character.Ding Yu Xi's acting talent is incredible. perfectly personifies the jealous, super-cute husband and the uncontroversial leader. I can’t think of an actor in this drama who didn’t get the maximum out of his character.
But it's also true that this is the first drama where I was most concerned about a third-rate character, Su Mu's fate. Quan Pei Lun's performance touched me the most, as he does not feel worthy of love, but in the end, he finds enough strength and confidence to accept it, and be with the one he loves. Su Mu and the first lady has the most beautiful love in this whole story.

If you want a happy ending, dont watch the last 5min. Stop, when in the bamboo forest the FL is danceing in the snowfall and the ML is watching her. Stop there, and this great story will not get ruined.This is a beautiful story, a cute couple. A beautiful description of an emerging love, a love which for you sacrifice your life. Then the last three minutes slap the viewer with the worst possible ending. I hope there will be a special ending with a happy ending, because this is the worst ending they could have come up with.
