She just a rookie!look at her, what will she do? She &her fire station!then work for fire station why you would…
She doesn't really want to work for the entertainment industry, she only signed the contract so she could pay the rent on the dance studio. She wants to be a dancer. As such, she doesn't care about advancing her career in showbusiness
how's the drama so far? Don't mind spoiler/s. Shall i start?
I like it. It's very fast paced and especially at the beginning you have to be paying a lot of attention to what's going on and who they are talking about or you'll be completely lost. Most of the story takes place in the real world so if you watch the first episode and aren't too keen on the esthetic of the game world it only shows up maybe 10% of the time.
The story is OK, but I really just purely personally don't like Huang Zi Cheng for whatever reason, lol.WDX can…
I'm not liking HZC either but I don't think your really supposed to like him. He's written as a slacker, bum type character who up til now has never had to take anything seriously and as such he's making really "dumb" mistakes. Now hopefully they use this to show character growth throughout the series.
It's hilarious and Miles Wei plays the exact opposite of a cold CEO since he has an obsession with stuffed animals and fluffy, furry things and falls hard first for Xulu's character En.
After his dad died she was a single mother working all hours and would come home to find he'd cried himself to sleep. One day she gave him a stuffed animal to hug telling him it was her hugging him and she never came home to him crying again.
They have a one night stand in the game…but offline, still building their chemistry. I am not really feeling…
I'm with you on that and ep 9 confirms they used to date apparently at some point in the past which explains some of the tension with them being shoved together again for this case 🔥
Someone enlighten me. Do people in China enjoy watching the side characters or couples in romcoms? The characters…
I don't know about people in China specifically but personally I usually like the side characters and additional couples in dramas. The more in depth story telling is why I like dramas over movies which focus on just the one couple usually and streamline everything.
Not really. HZC wants to get with YaoYao but it doesn't have the same vibe as something being directed with a romance storyline angle; more just another aspect of the characters if that makes sense.
Well, the ring incident, should have called a plumber instead. However, it's a touching story and brought tears…
There are other times I've thought something similar like "why did they call fire department" such as with the drunk guy who couldn't get into "his" apartment... shouldn't he have called a locksmith?
third firefighter drama this year. Ist better or worse than the previous ones?? btw I drop both previous dramas…
Depends on what you're looking for in a drama. If you want fast romance it's not going to be for you since we are so far at a stage where they are stealing glances at eachother and smiling. If you want realistic firefighter scenarios with a group of guys that all have a story and come together to view the firehouse as their family, it's great for that.
I finished all 4 episodes and I still have questions. I think we'll continue to have questions throughout the…
Yes, the honey water was intentional and used as a way to test them out without it being a "real" mission. That's why Tony dumps it out in front of them at the end of the mission. He then goes on to verify on the phone that they are ready for "Real" missions now.
I didn't watch ep 10 yet. Going to get some things done first then watch before bed. I enjoyed ep 9 so much and…
You'll see when you get to ep 10. It's not the parents of any of our characters so far but a one-off character that appears in this episode. They are real pieces of work from the little screen time they had already.
I'm only 2 episodes in but I like it already, just because there's more than just the big rescue mission scene…
I can't help thinking when each one comes on the screen "It's gonna be you, isn't it, anyone but you..." until the next one comes on screen and I find myself repeating the same thing in my head. 😭
And just the fact we'll be starting next episode with her parents again makes me enraged just anticipating the scene to come. 🤬
