Adorably sweet show. It's not a 'hot and heavy' type drams by any means but it doesn't shy away from showing off Pan Zi Jian's torso as he's often wearing a shirt half open or even not wearing one at all as he tosses water on himself to 'clean up'.
Story is develops their romance nicely imo.

Long story but very well done. There are definitely some spots where some spots feel slightly abridged but overall for the scope of this story it is surprisingly well put together and coherent.

I found part 1 'okay'... I was interested enough in wanting to know where the story was going to put on season 2 but at the same time the whole thing felt weird to me because they are obviously trying to make the storyline both a harem AND not a harem at the same time... If he sleeps with all the women in the house in the book it just feels when he's deliberately not putting any moves on any of the females aside from random specific scenes...

This wasn't bad but to me it also isn't memorable. The biggest take-away that ai took from this was the 'gambling is a risk and you're bound to lose' warning at one point 😅

🤣 oh this channel! I'll watch it but yeah I've watched a few of their and it's funny how some of their dramas start out with really good subtitles and then devolve into.... 😅 - that also happened with a different channel I watched the other day too

They are actually the same novel 😅 - this one just adapted it differently but they are both based on "After being buried with ten concubines, the prince came back to life in anger" | 《跟十个小妾合葬后，王爷气活了》

I sort of liked both separately but agree that their character arc just was weird. When I rate, one of my criteria is the supporting cast storylines and I just couldn't not give that category a full 1 point because of those two (I made a compromise and gave it .75 there and as a story as a whole)

He was close enough with how high his cultivated power was previously and he had just been wandering around painting and doing politics... he probably did that again
