Then explain why a parent would react the same way. You conveniently overlook this example and that it is a normal reaction. Hell, if she had a really close girlfriend who wasn't given this confidence, she might react just as poorly.
Btw, I don't know. Prehistoric men and women might beg to differ with all your studies. It's just not that complicated.

Why does everything for women nowadays devolve to this men against women pathology? Why do women always feel the need to attack men for every bad reaction and excuse women for every bad action? Life is not a fairytale.
This is a common reaction from a loved one when they hear something bad happened to the other after the fact and felt left out or treated like a stranger when they see themselves as someone to rely on. Get out of the simple Men/Women dichotomy. To understand what I'm saying here, think of the 2 people as a daughter and a MOTHER or a FATHER. Sometimes the kneejerk reaction from a parent, good or bad, will be to get angry with their child for not letting them know or in-- Because it IS their responsibility to protect their loved ones. This is just instinctual. Why do women feel the need to deny men of their natural instinct and make them something genetics never intended, regardless if their overall personality is to be a jerk? Neither scenario keeps a child or a woman from being independent. Independent doesn't mean being alone.

I watched this when it first came out. I gave it a 8.5. I love it and the soundtrack. I still play the songs. I remember it was highly rated back when it came out.
But some personal life stuff happened with the ML and like how most females do, they take their personal opinions about the actor and down rate the drama. Most of the personal issues were unfounded as well. But there was a lot of female backlash and he got removed from projects and replaced or overlooked because of it. So, these cancel happy females never think of the ENTIRE cast and the work they put into a project. They only need to have their 2 cents in OTHER people's private lives and take it out on a drama that is fantasy... ===and has nothing to do with 1 individual.

Where did I say I was an expert on Korea? I don't need to be a expert on any country to know FACTS about its suicide rate. It's called Cultural Anthropology and it's a requirement for my degree in International Business. That's fine. We get. You don't go for substance. All you want is to have someone on screen you can stick your hands down your pants over. Yes, we get it... You're a thirsty incel yourself, but I think what you're really going for is an OnlyFans Channels. You'll have better luck with it.
Hey asshat! This profile pic is me! I'm not an "incel". I'm a very big extrovert and I have 2 kids.
You and all your ilk is why Korea is ranked #1 on the suicide per capita list. You hide behind your monitor and typewriter picking apart humanity without an ounce of humanity or compassion yourself.
HEY YOU! Put your own damn self out there and take the hits and critiques 🫵 get. Let's see how well you hold up. And whether or not you're attractive enough to be discussing how attractive other people are or not.
Obviously the industry believes he's a capable actor for his role. He doesn't need to be nitpicked by the likes of 🫵 .... nor does anyone else.
I'm only commenting because I just finished The Perfect Crown. The last half of that drama dragged but I stuck it out for the OTP chemistry. People's private lives are their own but I was aware of IU's relationship. So when I watched the later episode kiss scene, I did have a thought. Mind you, there are multiple kiss scenes and I didn't watch any bts stuff. Anyway, when I say this headline, I thought about that scene that I actually just finished watching 2 days ago. I just now saw the headline so I really found it funny--cause in that kiss scene I was actually shocked by the kissing noises they allowed into that scene over minutes. The sounds perked me because they were so loud and clear and real sounding and I'm not used to that in K-Drama kiss scenes. Unless they're specifically more mature dramas, usually makjangs, kiss scenes are fairly chaste. They're not macking out on each other... but these two were going for it pretty good... and it made me think, "... I can't imagine Lee Jong Suk is fine with the stuff...." Most Korean men aren't, it often seems. So the second thought was, "...she must have told him not to watch..." ...but now it makes even more sense. She didn't have a relationship to worry about so she was probably more comfortable and able to go all out on a passionate kiss scene than she might otherwise have been. Just funny I didn't catch this post before.
Hey! C-Netizens! Especially you young girls! Put your cellphones down and touch grass. Stop bending your neck like a zombie. Go out and look around! Your country is under water! So many people are displaced and suffering and THIS is what you're doing with your time? Barking on the internet about a dude you lust after? Lust is not a positive attribute. Maybe let the dude decide his life for himself? It's just a JOB for Pete's sake!
Dude, I don't need a lesson in romanization. I understand the issues with differences in romanization but, frankly, that's the way FOREIGNERS transcribe it. It's not the true etymology of the word.
I've taken hangul for over 2 years at the Korean American Cultural Center that is funded and supported by the Korean government through the King Sejong Institute.
Although there are various ways to romanize hangul that are considered correct, TECHNICALLY, per the etymology, they are not! Just like the Korean government has a website for the STANDARDIZATION of the batchim rule because, per dialects etc, even Koreans get correct pronunciations wrong.
Through the King Sejong Institute I was given direction to various websites to help with my learning proper Korean. Here, I'll help you learn proper hangul rominazation:
Lastly, to help you with the batchim rule go ahead an use the batchim generator... Go ahead and in put ALL the versions of her name AND then you'll realize that even the romanization of her freaking last name is, per etymology and the Korean government, INCORRECT => https://www.mauvecloud.net/charsets/hangulgenerator.html
Here... for those too lazy to bother who read this screed and thought it actually really meant something intellectual and was teaching you anything of value, here's what the generator does to the various romanized version of her name:
Kim You Jung = 김 요우 중 Kim Yu Jeong = 김 유 정 Kim Yoo Jeong = 김 요오 정 Kim Yoo Jung = 김 요오 중 Jin Yuzhen obviously doesn't translate due to no 'z' in hangul and this is the Chinese romanization of how they pronounce her name.
As you can see, there is only ONE that correctly translates per IPA to the hangul = Kim Yu Jeong.
I fully understand that FOREIGNERS romanize Jeong as Jung because, frankly, Korean is hard for the English speaking palate to enunciate so they create romanization that best fits how they comfortably pronounce it, but it's technically not accurate and anyone who properly wants to enunciate a language should take the time to learn how to shape their mouths and the IPA etymology to be respectful.
With the current situation in South Korea, I actually agree with the netizens on this one.
First off, this is supposed to be the *modern era* if Joseon was left intact.
Let's start with the relationship with the Ming & Qing Dynasty.
The Royal family and the Korean govt were not free to do whatever they wanted during these eras. In order to receive recognition, trade & military support the Korean citizens, including the royal family had to kowtow to China and provide tributaries until the late 1800s! Korea was NOT officially independent during this time. Hell, any Joseon king required Chinese investiture e.g. the emperor of China had to give them their seal and officially legitimize them to their title, IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY. It's an insult to Korean sovereignty! China might not be seen as "imperial" but the affect is essentially the same as Japanese imperial rule, it's just that Japan was more totalitarian during their time.
SO... why are we using HANJA instead of hangul for these 2 words in discrepancy!? Hangul was created by a JOSEON KING for a specific reason and he is absolutely the favorite king of Korea and this is a major reason for that. The love of the Korean people! The words should be written 만세 and 천세 ONLY! If it's the modern era, let's get it right instead of bringing it back to what the netizens are actually complaining about.... putting them back into a tributary position where they're using Chinese that not EVERY citizen can read. HANJA is only taught currently as an ELECTIVE in middle or high school!!
Korea should be sovereign and the language should equal this as well.
Stop being fans kids because you are blowing money into ppls asses and they are bored out of their minds going…
When was her brother a "celebrity"? What does she have to do with her brother's actions? Nothing.
This need to accuse people of shit and cancel them is very sick behavior.

Stop tryna lay this on her doorstep. She's been an YGE trainee since she was 16, 1/3/1995. She wasn't even living in her childhood home. A month after she signed with YGE she was living in a shared dorm with other Blackpink members until 2018 when she moved out on her own. In fact, Lisa was the first to move out and she told Jisoo how much she liked her new place so Jisoo moved to the same building. So, how tf does she know what's going on with her family? She's too busy touring, acting and singing.
Just like the statement says, she's not privy to what her family is doing because she's living her own life and has been since she was 16.
CCP still out here trying to destroy what let Chinese culture is left that they didn't get to during the industrialization of the Chinese Red Guard Cultural Revolution. Temples, Buddhist statues, rare manuscripts, Ming Dynasty & other tombs, books, paintings, antiques... now they STILL don't want any of that traditional beauty and aesthetics that emphasizes that traditional culture either. That's the beauty of something like Pursuit of Jade and why I even want to watch any of it. The fact that novels, dramas and movies want to go back to these historical eras is a testament to the passion of the true Chinese heart. Makeup, colors and styling were all part of opera lore. It helped the audience identify the hidden aspects of a character. This is acting at its finest. Much like the Geisha of Japan. It IS meant to standout above the common folks. It is what you pay to experience.
I'm not interested in this propagandized CCP communist history denying and destroying sloosh.
Let's not get it twisted. Those who have issues/jealousy or social justice over the aspect of "unrealistic beauty standards" can't see the forest through the trees of what the CCP symposium is saying here. Please read careful because "beauty" isn't the defining point. It's traditional Chinese culture and an obsession with it the scares the crap out of the CCP in these volatile times in China.
NOTE WHAT WAS SAID: "... television dramas, as a form of art widely enjoyed by the general public, play an important role in conveying mainstream values, inheriting China's outstanding traditional culture, and guiding aesthetic trends..."
and "...television drama sector must thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Culture (the current cultural and ideological doctrine of the People's Republic of China), uphold a people-centered creative orientation, adhere to both integrity and innovation, and embrace the core values of truth, goodness, and beauty. It should go deep into real life and take root among the people, ensuring that television drama works reflect the beauty of simplicity, the beauty of nature, and the beauty of meaningful content..."
~ or essentially.... stop obsessing about the past... you only get to believe & worship what Xi tells you you can believe and worship... focus on industrialization and modernization's growth.. and make sure everything you produce reflects that sentiment and doesn't stir the traditional cultural emotions of the masses...
