Where in the article said he is highly involved in the planning of their bed scene?
He gave several interviews that day. It was in the Chosun Sports article that I read. He stated that he was heavily involved in the tone & feel of that bed scene and guided his co-star. You can see a lot of it in the bts stuff as well.

Ahh... so he was highly involved in the planning of their bed scene. Interesting.

What I find cute is that it seems he's come out on several places after the awards were announced and finale has been well received to put a damper on the ongoing "relationship" rumors which inevitably happen whenever a Korean drama couple give good romance skinship. Mainly because of how Korean drama skinship is more often feeling forced or awkward. But his saying, "...it's not up to me alone..." was an interesting way to put it. Especially since it seems she's still dating that athlete.

I wonder his thoughts on this and why he'd likely back off doing more romantic dramas going forward. The pressure must be hard.... especially when things go as well as it did for this drama internationally.

I know there are bigger issues with ep 12, but I kinda don't know how to feel about PDJ, a man who pushed and…
But he was. He served his time and she visited him often. She didn't want him prosecuted as well as the butler, so they got reduced sentences with her victim impact statements. She had no animosity towards him and knew that they worked well together. He was duped and mislead. His story is resolved so he has no more reason for revenge.

No, she lives in CCP controlled mainland China. When they go on social media, that is controlled by the communist…
I think based on the fact that I have Chinese friends, my son works for a Chinese businessman and how much Chinese history and entertainment I consume, what you just said about me is a bunch of BS... That you equate "Sinophobia" to a dislike of communism is telling. China hasn't always been governed by propaganda and Marxism. Just because I have an abhorrence to that system of government doesn't mean I dislike China/Chinese. There are a lot of non-party members in the nation.

Reading "I sincerely apologize for taking up public resources" is quite sad if by that she means "healthcare"…
No, she lives in CCP controlled mainland China. When they go on social media, that is controlled by the communist party, to say "public resources",, they mean public forums and discourse.

First off, if for any reason you cause a huge public scandal that gets the attention of the CCP, you're gonna be in big trouble. They don't want anything coming out publicly that says anyone or any industry run by the CCP, which as a communist country is essentially everything, making them look like they are bad or mismanaged or effect human rights etc. Catching the attention of the CCP in a manner where you trend on Weibo or elsewhere and garner huge amount of comments and public attention will get you in serious trouble. Yes, the CCP can come up with various ways to silence you and your career, like discovering you didn't pay all your taxes etc.

I am sure she didn't even want to say this much, but the situation has gotten to a level that she was forced to in order to try to stop the barrage of negative attention.

Depression is deadly. None of the options are light or “temporary”. Hoping for the best for her.
You didn't read what I said clearly. I didn't say "depression" was "temporary". I said her loss of the ability to talk, or "aphasia" would be temporary, if it is due to depression rather than a stroke that caused brain damage. The effects of depression caused aphasia are usually temporary during times of extreme stress. That's all I said.

Then reread my last sentence. I am hoping for the best prognosis for her depression as well.

Lily Alice Jan 1, 2025
Well, this may sound weird, but I'm grateful it's depression because this means that it wasn't aphasia due to stroke and will be temporary and curable. Since her friend spoke out, I thought it was a stroke and would take years.

Grateful she is now getting the care she needs and realizes that no one will take care of her if she doesn't take care of herself first.

Hope she finds the peace of mind to heal as best she can for whatever she chooses to do in the future and it brings as much happiness as she wants. She knows the root cause, and that's always the first step. That she's fighting to survive is a beautiful thing. Wish her the strength to be all that she can be because depression is often a struggle.

"...aphasia, a language disorder caused by damage to parts of the brain."This is A BIT misleading . Yes it can…
ChatGPT tells me otherwise:
"...While severe dehydration can potentially contribute to temporary cognitive impairments that might manifest as difficulty with language comprehension and expression, which could be mistaken for aphasia, it's not considered a direct cause of true aphasia; aphasia typically arises from significant brain damage, most commonly caused by a stroke, affecting the specific language processing areas of the brain and not solely due to dehydration alone..."

its fake lol its just nonsene rumors. if this were true she herself would post it like why ask her friend?
What tf are you even talking about?? "alleged friend".
The friend is in the goddamn pictures and everyone knows who tf she is... she's not some random person. It's her fellow actor Smile Wei.
Here, if you don't understand, watch and learn:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXAa1eg-LZA

I'm not trying to feel better or sound smart... I'm merely discussing the fact that the information Smile Wei disclosed makes it likely that Lusi has suffered from a stroke.... either way, Lusi is not in a good condition and you're acting like this is some personal scandal of Lusi's she is trying to control, cover up, lie about, or whatnot... I don't know... I honestly don't know your point...

but your actions stating you're only gonna believe her agency when the agency is being accused of beating her up is telling. You realize that aphasia is caused by brain damage, right? Yes, she may have had a stroke due to poor help... or like Smile Wei, with Lusi's consent, is stating, someone owes Lusi and apology... brain damage can also be caused by trauma to the head... like someone hitting you upside the head for not keeping your weight under control, not getting leading roles, not doing as your told... etc. Yet, you think these folks are the ones who are honest and to be trusted... not her friend, Smile Wei who is right by her side, eating with her, and taking care of her???

Go ahead and all caps some more... It doesn't make you any less of an ignorant person.

No one’s confirmed any of this so don’t jump to speculation that she won’t be acting for years.
I sorry for the loss of your loved one.

The little bit of information coming out has lead me to believe she had a stroke..... BUT, based on Lusi's consent of her friend to say certain things, and that friend stating that others were involved, I am now wondering if it is all that simple.

Lusi has recently been getting attacked for being "chubby" since she has started becoming more and more popular, getting lead roles. Based on the friend's comments, I wonder if her diet was hers to control anyway. Additionally, these comments about her being beating up by members of her agency is worrying.

Aphasia is most commonly due to a stroke but this is not the only way for the brain damage that causes it to occur. She could get brain damage due to some other trauma to the head. I am now curious as to the friend maybe trying to put it out there that this was no accident and due to mere poor health, but caused by someone who hurt her.

We will have to wait to see this play out... but anyone did do harm to her that causes her to lose her career, they need to pay in a huge way. Jail time should be included. I feel so utterly horrible for her either way. Hopefully it's recoverable and she lives a long and healthy life.

LOL. Mature netizen who waits for an agency that makes money off her career to tell you the 'truth' about Lusi having aphasia which is going to alter her career entirely??... yes, yes.... you are the correct ones to believe their "truth" and not her close friend who is right by her side in her time of need.

You wait for that "official" statement from her work lords. Yes, you go ahead and do that...

"...why ask her friend?.." Could you promote how ignorant you are any better than this statement?

Do you know what aphasia is? It's not just the inability to speak words. It's the inability to comprehend language at all. For example, not only not being able to know to say the word pen for a pen, but not even knowing what a pen is or does.

So, now tell me again why a close friend saying she has aphasia is fake because Lusi hasn't gone on camera to tell you this, or hasn't written a post with her own hands? Yes, you are a fool.

No one’s confirmed any of this so don’t jump to speculation that she won’t be acting for years.
If the person who posted pictures of Lusi recovering in a wheelchair states that Lusi is suffering from "aphasia", then I'm not going to believe it is speculation. It came straight from the mouth/post of a friend who is currently with her in her time of need. "aphasia" is most often caused by a stroke. This friend says she cannot walk and talk correctly. If she didn't have a stroke, it could only be acquired by some serious brain injury like falling and hitting her head, a car accident, being hit by a blunt object in the head, etc.

Her ability to recover fully will be based on how she acquired "aphasia". If it was a mild stroke, she may recover fully after 6 months, The fact she's not able to walk and in a wheelchair leads me to believe it's more than a mild stroke. However, it's likely not PPA, like what Bruce Willis has, which has a mortality rate from 7-12 years, and progresses like dementia. The thing with "aphasia" is not just the loss of language but the loss of the ability to even comprehend the meaning of the things you're trying to communicate about. For example, not only not being able to call a pen a "pen" but not even knowing what a pen is or does. Again, depending on the severity of the stroke, she may have a long way to go to recover... I won't have any expectations about her career. I simply hope that, whatever the results and outcome, she is able to live a full and healthy life going forward.

You're a dick. ❤️
"..to get sympathy in the present.." WTF are you even talking about. You make absolutely no sense.

You act like Lusi becoming ill is some "scandal" or that she did something wrong. Like, WTF are you even saying. Do you hear yourself?

Karma, that's all I can say. Shall your words smack you and your family on the back of the head.

Based on what Lusi's friend said, she likely had a stroke and now can't walk and talk.... and you're here acting like the fact that this happened is because of something bad Lusi did. You are an immoral asshat, pure and simply. That's the only way your words can be described.

So, brain damage most likely due to a stoke? Then am I to believe those posts saying she likely had a stroke?

This is freaking horrible. The main thing I know, past this post, is that her close friend posted pictures of her hanging out with Lusi in a wheelchair along with her statement regarding Lusi's condition. When I read she said that Lusi is "..recovering some of the ability to speak, and learn how to walk again..." all I could think is, how serious this is for Lusi. It's not just speech. She can't walk either. This isn't something regarding "rest" she needs to overcome exhaustion. This is a life altering incident that is likely going to take her years to recover from now.

I wish her and her family the best. Hopefully she has made enough money to live well and recover to the best of her ability. Maybe at some point she can return to acting. In the meantime, I hope she finds peace and gets justice if her life was altered by the actions or inactions of others.

guys do anyone have the link for ep 11 preview ?
If they gave you a preview of ep 11, you'd literally not need to watch the episode to know the outcome. If they did that, how could you tag this as thriller, mystery? The mystery would be lost...and the mystery is part of the point of this drama.

Sorry folks, we just have to wait. It's the nature of the beast. I'm glad they didn't spoil it so that people could not claim this drama to be "too predictable", for those of us who haven't read the novel and know nothing of what to expect.

Most romantic thing this guy ever said that he’s only identity is HHJ husband that too infront of entire world.😍😍😍So…
Maybe in the novel he was, but in this drama, he was always a green flag. Just because we see his actions from everyone's misinterpretation doesn't make his actions a red flag. It just makes everyone ignorant to the truth about who he truly is, which is what this story is about.

On When the Phone Rings Dec 28, 2024
First off, their kiss scenes, or romantic scenes in general, are so perfectly beautiful and romantic and natural. The most real looking hugs and kisses I've seen in an Asian drama in a long time. Hell, the way their cheeks move, their kisses practically look like french kissing. How easily she glides into his lap.... my god, I couldn't have directed it better in my mind than the way they pulled those scenes off.

Lastly, Yoo Yeon Seok's desperate expression was masterful. His cheeks literally looked sunken in and gaunt. The pronounced facial wrinkles made him look like he aged 15 years overnight. Those puppy dog eyes as well. How could a nation get mad at him and let him suffer more? Why wouldn't the whole world help? This man perfectly turned a scandal into a romance novel starring a husband utterly and irrevocably in love with his wife who he has lost.

Yeon Seok's acting in that final scene was some of the best acting I've seen from him ever. I hope he does win awards. He made something that, with an actor who would give less of a performance, could have come out corny or predictable, a work of art. That scene was absolutely heart wrenching and Yeon Seok sold it to us on a silver platter. Well done.

P and B are interchangeable in the romanisation of Korea. Busan gets romanized to Pusan for example. Paik, Paek,…
I understand the rules, including batchim. Fully understand that bieup sounds more like p at the beginning of a word & b with vowels. Fully understand the same applies to ㄱ (giyeok) with g & k. But for pronunciation for names etc per IPA, the traditional way to say & spell the last name is Baek. Not Paek. And in no way is ㅐ ever gonna be ai. ㅐ is pronunced like "day" and it's phonetically ae all day long. I don't know of any interchangeabliity of vowels... I only know consonents... but they spell Hyeon, "Hyun" in romanji but it still doesn't sound the same.

They spell 박 as Park as well... have since the dawn of time. Still doesn't put an "r" anywhere near that Hangul, and saying an English hard "r" isn't the proper way to pronounce that name. I get that there are different ways to spell it... what I'm saying is that I dislike that the English representation is far from the way any Korean would say those words.
