i also understand rest is extremely important, but I also can see why it's important to hit the iron while it's hot. Due to the immense success of Speed and Love (that even their production team didn't see coming *cough, the terrible promotions *cough*) it only makes sense to keep going while eyes are on them and keep up the momentum, i also think part of the reason is due to their youth still, after age 40 i can only assume it will get much harder than now

i just think they are genuinely having fun / having a party lol

you aren't alone here, i think there's a reason why lots of Asian fans (cough, Korea, cough) don't really see a problem with this set up because Oppa/Noonim is kind of a normal way of calling someone older in an affectionate or familiar manner, like you won't see them calling a stranger that, that would be extremely bizarre

i am with you, i am flabbergasted if the China law is that super super strict, and why they couldn;t have pushed for more eps instead of being cut down

then you would be calling 90%+ of the romance genre K-Dramas weird when the female lead calls the male lead oppa if they are older x'D or IRL promotions when the actress calls the actor "oppa" when they are older as well x'D x'D

im not sure if this is the minority opinion, but I do prefer the "forbidden romance" troupe / "fake siblings" synopsis more just cuz it adds more "spice" or a much better hook, it's what grabbed my attention anyway way back when in February/March when I was awaiting for news of this drama back in lala land
