I’m really enjoying this series. I usually don’t watch many fantasies, but this one is so well done and it gets better with each episode.

Best costume drama out! Thoroughly enjoyed this romantic drama filled series.

This is the best costume drama I have seen in a long while! I’m binging it and I haven’t done this since the Double. I even paid to see more unreleased episodes. Don’t miss this gem! There is plenty of romance with great kissing and a lot of intense intrigue.

Very slow burn, but good is The First Frost - once the leads come together their chemistry is hot and very believable.

Why did they pick Cesar Wu to be the FL’s ex boyfriend? I love me some Cesar Wu since I watched him in the General’s Lady! Can’t wait to watch him again as a leading man.

I’m I the only one who loves Zhang Linghe’s long eyelashes! Dang!

Love this show, it’s better in my opinion than the last two with the ML. His hair is styled in a way that showcases his handsomeness. He has the most expressive eyes when he looks at the FL. The plot, while similar to others of this vein, works. I find myself bingeing. I’m glad I gave it try and can’t wait for their romance to begin as the tension and chemistry is spot on.

Does anybody know who hums that song played on the show? No singing just an awesome hummed rendition. I want to add to my playlist.

I agree, he’s young, she’s probably his first love and her chasing him is something he hasn’t experienced before. She’s turning him on and out!

The baby face ML is perfect for this drama, an older looking man wouldn’t have worked with the FL ‘s seductive acts. It’s well worth the watch even with the ending.

I don’t understand all the hate for this show, the acting was top notch and I enjoyed watching it. Yeah, the last episode wasn’t what I expected, but nonetheless, I would watch it again just to understand some bits and pieces of it.
