Another person hating on women ... See this is what I was talking about. Just cuz some people find changing the plot unnecessary doesn't mean that oh ..I hate yifan. I don't think so I have seen many comments saying ' oh I am a men by gender and i love this plot' you can write your own views without shiting on others . Specifically this gender wars that should be closed ages ago . Even if mens do like wen yifan ( i still don't know where you found this from) I can still say the same for them...maybe they just like beautiful yifan to be single lol 😂 bring logical discussion buddy ...

Hmmm..... I have seen this poison trope a lot of times but honestly, here the conflict is between the style of the author that has been altered. See hidden love and wifty are both her novel. They did not amplify anything much there and still it was a big hit in both markets . This novel is already very heavy and plot centred . So the separation and other added tropes seems a bit unnecessary honestly. It's just that I think the director has not done a very good job with it . Not only this sequence but also some small details were not done properly. But still the show is good cuz the actors are amazing and the original source is beautiful.

Hey.... Majority is not victim shaming dear . She is a victim no doubt but also her step may not be right . We can't expect anyone to not be disappointed if they change the essence of the novel . Change can always be seen as either good or bad. Her running away seemed unnecessary to many and it's oky. Cuz everyone is entitled to their opinion.

True ... it's not like we are victim blaming yifan or anything. We all accept that what she went through was horrible. But as a fellow s.a. survivor from a family member, I felt so relatable to her character before. Now I feel disappointed cuz I don't think so I will every leave someone that loves me so much and make him miserable. It's just my interpretation.

It's not a discussion site anymore. You can literally see people shiting on others about having a damn opinion. Don't say that you don't see the hatred and fighting they are doing in literally every every comment section. saying ' you don't understand s.a. saviour or you only see cheesy things so you don't like it ' is what I am trying to say. Like instead of targeting someone's views how about you share your own. Share what you like so people will see things from another dimension instead of just getting into fights.

Personally, I do feel a little dejected from this change. Also, I feel like the director is partly to blame for this . The source material did not have so many harrasment scenes as far as I remember. Till now she has been harrassed atleast 4 times which starting from the housemate scene to the naked flashy man to the original source assaults. They are making everything way way dramatic. Like the author has a style to her. She keep things minimal . The villians are just annoying not powerful enough to cuz this much issue. Because let's be real, it's not so easy for just anyone to complain about food poisoning without any proper evidence and everything. Also the author has been known to not cuz any separation drama. So seeing that change is honestly a little disappointing

Mdl turning into a fighting comment section should be studied. It used to be so wholesome few years ago.. now honestly, I am scared to open it. Like people are just used to hating every opinion that differs from their ideology. Why do everything needs to be on opposite spectrum of things. You can dislike a drama still appreciate some things about it . You can like a drama still complaint about few episodes. If someone is writing their opinion, that they did not like so and so things about the drama, why do the fans feel the need to reply them and shame them about their opinion. If you like a drama, write your own review or like the ones that represents your review. Same goes for the other way round. It's just as simple as that .

I could not watch past that scene so I don't know.... But well the characters are misogynistic , no debate about that. It's a closed chapter for me . Hopefully character redemption will be worth the wait for everyone else .

I loved hearing your opinion on this story. I, respectfully, could not handle a scene like this, specially from a ML candidate. It was a fun show as long as I have seen it. Hope you enjoy it 🤗

Oky, this is my opinion after watching 5 eps.
Not hate at all to anyone who likes it and sees it. I too honestly enjoyed the show in the starting. The husbands not being good personality wise is not really a big issue for me .... I can watch in the name of realistic drama. But honestly, other than misogynist views and dress , i don't think so any thing is realistic. So I did not understand the need for such characters. But but, I enjoyed four episodes! Cuz I am not afraid to watch flawed characters. My breaking point was one simple scene in ep 5. If I remember correctly, in that scene , the ML accused FL's adopted sister for going to a man in search of better future. So as to say, she was assaulted because she "wanted" . This is the MOST PROBLEMATIC LINE and sadly the most common line in have heard many times for assualt victims. I know he was completely shut down by the FL ...but the need for such problematic lines triggered something in me . Even if you fall in love with a person ..... He has no ... absolutely no right to touch you without your consent. Here , the situation was completely different. She was just trying to get a good husband. It was not her fault at all . I am sorry if I am bitching about something you like . It's not a hate on anyone. I just wanted to call out a problematic NOT AT ALL IMPORTANT line .

Honestly..remakes are hard to make cuz people come with very high expectations from the og. As someone who was recently led down by a remake, i can say this is going good. Best thing about this is that they are not trying to change the essence of the og. Rather they are just doing the same plot with additional japanese extraness which is done perfectly in the 1 st ep. Hopefully, this continues.

Damn...how many mens liked yining in the novel. We have ml, sml , I heard cheng lang and now lin mao ..... I mean , if I was a men in this novel , i would have loved her too.

I don't hate this version. But you know, sometimes expectations are just not meet. It's completely fine drama. It's just my mind can't stop comparing and I guess that's just what happens to most of us og watcher .

Hey hey ..it was just my personal opinion. Plus, I never said i didn't like this ...I just said some points that doesn't sit well with me. Also adaptation is mostly of original non cinematic source (like a book, manga ) remake is the new version of an old movie / Drama . Maybe the literal defination has been changed, but even if I had not seen the og, i would still not like the TEEN FL character that much. IT'S JUST NOT MY TYPE. But I love the Korean retelling of the story, hence I will continue. Pls, i NEVER SAID, this is for cdrama fans. (Infact I said quite the opposite). Slight criticism is not hate bruh. I do appreciate changes . Like I said, i would not like to see same scenes repeated again. But if it's a REMAKE, changing the personality of main character is not the right thing. If they wanted, they would just make a different story with a different plot. It's just my opinion. I like this show. And I would not draw comparison after this. This is just two negative for me.

Also, I do have a slight issue with this show ...Look I am all in for making changes to scenes, but if it's a REMAKE, it should not change the essence of original. That being said, I am not happy with the way they have shown the teen Fl. She was supposed to be tom boy and badass and kind of brat. That's how she was grown up (living in a very protected and all men environment). Someone said in discussion that reply 1988's female lead's characters are what would have been perfect for this. (Not talking abt the actress but her personality ). She was well received by kdrama lovers also. Another major fault is that: they are trying to downplay the sml, which should not be the case because the original had 3 main character, just one did not get the girl. Hopefully this will cover up in the upcoming episodes. Overall it's 👍

As somebody who has seen og, it's actually very nice in my opinion. Remake will never be exactly same for a main reason. It's mostly for the Korean drama lover audience/ Korean audience who have adapted to the Korean style dramas. If you are just a drama person and doesn't mind the country , you know how to change mindset and expectations before picking up any country drama. Like I know what kdrama offers overall and I know what I am in for when I go for xianxia / wuxia (cdramas ). That's just what most viewers need to understand. So exact copy of famous scenes can't be done. Let's not down grade this show because then all Kdrama lover fans will downgrade og .

Dear ...if you downgrade that og drama...fans will get offended... In return, they will rate this drama very low. This will only cause to harm this drama. Also about the pacing...I am sure you are not an avid cdrama watcher . Bcuz cdrama has completely different focus ,feel and pacing. Also if it's a masterpiece or not, it's for an individual to decide. I have seen og also...and best way is to compare less.
