I just started this on Viki and the episodes seem to be in a standard definition with no HD option. Does anyone else have that issue?

It sounds like YouTube gave you what you need, so I don't understand why you wrote this dissertation here. C dramas always get subbed slower on Viki unless they are really good, and this show was not really good.

It didn't help that whoever was doing her dubbing is clearly a better actress than she is.

This show is pretty bad. It starts out really cute, then it gets really weird when they suddenly fall in love, and the fact that this dude lost his sense of taste and his eyesight all in the course of a few episodes, makes this kind of terrible. The show stopped being good or entertaining once the focus was taken off of cooking. Once I didn't have nice shiny sequences of beautiful food being made all I could focus on was how terrible the writing was. Also, this huge age gap is kind of (very) cringe. 5/10 for the half of this that I enjoyed.

This is a cute little drama, sometimes I feel like y'all expect too much from these shows. If you would like some mindless entertainment for about 12 hours or so, give it a shot.

It's almost perfect for me. 9.5/10, I didn't like how FL denied loving him to his face until she was literally about to die. I get why she did, that doesn't mean I have to like it. I would definitely rewatch this, but I like crying.

I cried for almost a 1 hour and 40 mins of the 17th ep, before that I didn't really cry. But it's worth it.

It started slow, that I got good around episode 7 or so, then it slowed down again in the last two to three episodes. The last episode was really a drag, and the ending was not really super satisfying. Overall I give it a 7.5/10.

This was just okay. I feel like I ended up skipping about half of the drama because I was bored by the second couple, and this drama spent way too much time on them. 5/10

You should definitely continue. The beginning of the drama is very rom-com to me, but the end of it explains why the drama wasn't labeled a rom-com... Episode 17 is one of my favorites (I've actually rewatched that specific episode multiple times). There's lots of really cute romance throughout, but there's also some sad times coming for the pair before it is all over. With that being said the main couple does get a "happy ending", you'll just have to deal with some angst first. Overall, I gave this drama a 9/10.

Also, I'm super sad that Tan Si died, he was my favorite secondary character😭
