I had this on my watch list for a long time and just got around to starting it this week and I'm kind of angry at myself for waiting so long to watch. It's a really good show and really interesting I enjoyed it.
Welp, that's over and I managed to not drop it thanks(?) to Han Seo Jun. Looking forward to seeing that actor do something else. If what he had to put up with as a character in this show is what needed to happen to get him on people's radar, then I'm grateful. In episodes that I did actually enjoy, he was the thing about the ep that I enjoyed the most. The last two episodes are straight trash though writing-wise.
This review speaks to my spirit. I really only stuck this out for Seo Jun. I didn't even necessarily need him to be with the girl, I just needed him to be happy and he was miserable for most of the show. I'm also glad that I'm not the only one who just was not feeling chemistry from the main couple. I wasn't getting a whole bunch from her and SJ either, but there was definitely more potential especially like during that photo shoot and when they were skating.
I hated everything about this last episode from start to finish. I don't know if they thought giving us those moments with SML and FL was a gift or something for those of us who love him, but I hated every last minute of it. I'm not even sure I want to watch the next episode even though it's the last episode because I don't feel like I'm going to be satisfied at this point with whatever happens. and I'm not even someone who necessarily wanted them to be together, but to have this man pining after her for basically the entire series it doesn't make any sense. He can do better. I need him to want better for himself. This episode definitely knocked where I was going to rate this down a couple pegs.
This show would honestly be better if they dropped the romance stuff with the leads. Anywhoo, still only here for SJ and his happiness, but the last ep is making me come dangerously close to dropping this show. It's starting to get really dumb/ridiculous.
All I want in this life of sin is for Seo Jun to be happy. I don't even need him to get the girl (I think he deserves better), I just don't want him to be sad. He's just so sweet, he deserves good things, too.
Looking at some of the recent comments, some of y'all are taking the show way too seriously. I'm watching it for the second time right now and it's hilarious. I hope WDH won some sort of award for his work in this, he really steals the show.
I find Suho kind of boring? I am sorry if i offend anyone but i don't know, I always try to skip his scenes, no…
I agree with you, ML is boring and I am usually not paying attention if it's just him on the screen. Hopefully his character develops a personality before this is over.
I'm really only here for 2nd ML and everything he chooses to be at this point. I want him to win at life. ML is boring to me, and I'm not interested in the romance they are setting up.
So, I dropped this after episode 2. The episodes are too long for me to keep going at this point. I might get back around to giving it another shot sometimes I like dramas more on the second go. But for me right now there's way too much yelling and screaming in this, on top of it being boring.
This show is super cute, I don't know what people were expecting for this to have such low ratings overall. I enjoyed it, and it's a nice car watch between other dramas.
This is one of the more annoying versions of this trope. The relationship ended up being more cringe than anything at the end, and it doesn't help that the FL looks like she's 12 the whole time. I get that she's petite, but they could have aged her a little bit more for this. on top of her looking like she's 12, they also make her act like she's 12 for most of the show. And if she fell one more time...
ML had abusive tendencies, and it wasn't cute at any point but near the end it became a total turn off.
I didn't like second ML either, he was a little bit too stalkery for me. how are you going to give up money that you need for a relationship that's not going to happen with the girl who doesn't look at you like that? I didn't think that was cute. Probably my least favorite, or among my least favorites, as far as C-dramas with this kind of plot.
This started it really strong and then started flopping pretty hard for me around episode 15. By the last episode I didn't even want the couple together any more, I felt like FL put zero effort into her relationship on the end.
