I'm ready for the finale, but I'm starting to think I liked the show more before the couple became a couple... I know I'm in the minority, but I like ML more when he's being cold and not so much when he's been a cornball/lovesick fool. Also, the line about this year getting her a necklace but next year getting her a diamond ring and a marriage certificate made me cringe. How long have they been dating at this point? Like 3 weeks? Anyway, it's still a super cute show and I'll likely give it a high rating, but it's no longer a 10 for me.

He seems super shady, for sure.

I mean it's like how the song goes, "Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you got 'til it's gone..." He needs to move on though at this point. He should have appreciated her when he had her.

Yeah, but they seem to have issues before that match, so why do they have those issues before the match? K definitely seemed to have an attitude.

I've honestly felt bad for him for a while I don't think he was a bad guy I do think he was an idiot for not answering her calls and ignoring her once he started to get popular, but I don't think he was a bad person. Plus, that actor is really good at looking like someone just kicked his puppy.

I started watching that a couple days ago and I'm already on episode 9, and I agree the fans in that show are absolutely bonkers. It's honestly ridiculous, but I have no trouble believing that is also based on real life to some extent.

😕 I still have literally no idea why K and Cat were fighting to that extent? That whole part of the story just seems random as hell. Also, I haven't really actively participated in any fandoms probably in a couple years but I was never that person who didn't want my fave to have a relationship or be in love I've never understood those psychos. Even if they aren't with that person they still will not be with your crazy behind 🙄

If you're talking about her best friend and the player from the team that lives next to them, they get back together I want to say around episode 18 or so. But you don't really see them together very much as a couple until episode 21. Ep 22 is a really good one for them, and is the ep that made me like them together as a couple. Before that episode, she very much seems to bully him, but now we get to see a little bit of how their relationship actually works.

If you want something like this, I'd go with Love O2O of you haven't seen it. The movie and the show are both good.

I guess what I'm not understanding here is what exactly are you trying to gain from this? I don't think any of this is going to make those of us who are enjoying watching the drama stop enjoying the drama. If she plagiarized someone else's work then that person needs to take her to court and get compensation. But coming in here to basically try to crap all over those of us who are enjoying the show by adding "reality" is not really cool to me. I am not into esports and really I'm only watching for the romance and the team aspect (I love team dramas). For those who are into esports and are offended by the show or disturbed-- they can stop watching. I also don't see how this show is making esports look bad it actually looks kind of fun to me in the show but whatever "different strokes for different folks". It sounds like that reviewer, and others, we're expecting something that they didn't get and are disappointed. And that sounds like a personal problem to me.

Plagiarism does not mean basing something on events that actually happened and not saying that you based it on those events. It means stealing someone else's work or ideas. I have no real skin in this game and don't particularly care either way, but it is possible to have an idea for something in a story that actually happened and not be aware of the thing that actually happened at that time. I'm not saying either way whether the author knew of these events before they wrote the story or not I'm just saying it's not outside of the realm of possibility that they didn't. Also, either way people should not be harassing the actors for doing the job for which they are being paid, and people are clearly enjoying this drama so their work is paying off.

Fiction can still be based on true events (and often is), just look at Law and Order SVU, their storylines consistently come straight from headlines. Nothing in that post is going to make me enjoy the show less, and yes I did read it. Those people are public figures apparently so they can't expect that their story might not ever be adapted for screen in some capacity, fair or not. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I usually wait for dramas to be completely over and subbed before watching them anyway, so that doesn't bother me. I accidentally started watching this one last Friday not expecting to get hooked 😩 Joke's on me. . .

I feel like this is the fastest I've ever seen Viki sub a C-drama, it's almost getting subbed at K-drama speed today. While I did watch the episodes on another site already Viki always has the best subs (I like that they give notes to explain things that are more cultural to help add context).
