Judging even before watching, that's completely unfair!
Whether I decide not to watch or if it never intrested me in the first place in either case it's no loss so I don't get how that would be unfair unless I was telling others not to watch it or something.
I like this drama. I actually expected it to be not good. But for fantasy I am mostly lenient anyway. But it actually turned out to be better than I expected. I like the fantasy plus horror aspect. But a problem I have with 4th episode that it's just too soon. That's what I don't like about some dramas. The romance doesn't get time to developed. But it's still mostly good if I ignore that. I hope the quality doesn't go down and the FL doesn't become weak later cause I like her till now but I don't trust kdramas with strong FL's.
Reading some comments make me wonder why is it so hard to let people like or not like a drama and say why without putting down either side and calling them dumb...
was he pretending to be in his 20s? I have them on my list https://kisskh.at/list/PLpW0a81 but in my research…
I read they had a mere 4-5 years age difference. Actually that is society's double standards that noona romances want to portray. Many people look down upon age differences between an older woman and younger man while being totally okay when it's the other way around with way bigger age difference. Even I couldn't escape this. When I found out about noona romances I was actually surprised and even uncomfortable with the very idea. I have until very recently avoided noona romances on purpose exactly cause of this. It's society's double standards which is why noona romances are a thing cause they actually try to handle that issue in a way that other dramas won't or can't. That's why in noona romances you see characters make a big deal about even small age differences. I mean the very fact that it has to be called noona romances is saying something as you never hear about oppa romances.
It’s because she’s a high school student kissing a man randomly. Not with his approval. He was drunk and she…
Well I see plenty of complaints about such male characters all the time. Plenty of complaints about wrist grabs, forced kisses, hell even unwanted hugs. Maybe you haven't encountered them but many people are tired of those kinds of characters. I have seen plenty of complaints for people saying they are overused and cliche tropes and prefer dramas to not have them. Why do you think there are strong female leads and nice male leads in dramas nowadays and a lot of people like them? A lot of kdramas are slowly moving away from these things and it's exactly cause of such complaints. It's funny thing though I see two kinds of reaction to complaints about female characters who do such things. The 'No one says anything when it's the male characters who...' or 'If a male character did that then a lot of people would have have complained but nobody has a problem with...' Both sides never seem know about the other.
korea follows universal suffrage so an adult is 18(19 according to korean age).. so obviously they are adults..
Well I was arguing about the question of the character being an adult and also why the people who 'complained' saw it that way in the first place in my original comment so I wasn't wrong. I very well know not all Koreans agree cause that is obvious.

And yet https://www.dictionary.com/browse/universal-suffrage Explain the 21 then? Also have you seen the response that person who wrote about living in Korea for 12 years got by a Korean? Even you wrote considered adult by 20 in Korea or 19 in international age. Universal suffrage is not mentioned by anyone in the posts.
I know it happened in the first episode but people have been using the same misleading argument and has been repeated too many times for some reason but the character was a minor in Korea. 19 in Korean age is minor so she would have to be atleast 20. So unless the subs used international age 19 (which is when it's considered adult in Korea) then she is not technically an adult (Google it seriously). Which is why the Korean audience complained.
she was 19(18) at the time of the kiss and then 3 years later she starts working with him.. apparently koreans…

I kept on saying the hypocrisy argument when it's not actually about hypocrisy but more accurately it's whataboutery. A totally useless, not to show other person's hypocrisy but to excuse your own, to derail the argument rhetoric used to excuse everything so as to solve nothing. Full of false equivalence or bringing up the past acting as if no one should say anything if they haven't said something every single other time. If anything it gives me reason to say more not less. If someone didn't say anything then, then all the more reason to say something now. Sorry if I don't want to play that game which sounds more like a dirty tactic than a genuine argument.
So I watched the first four episodes and didn't find it that interesting for some reason. But seeing that many seem to really like it I think I should continue watching to see if it gets better for me.
Lately, I find Dramas will quickly go against their premise and that rubs me the wrong way (as in I feel cheated).…
I don't think either of the dramas intended to do that. I mean such dramas are more about not marrying cause they haven't found the right guy or other such reason rather than not wanting to marry, so I am not at all surprised.
I am actually kind of enjoying this drama despite the complaints I have about this. I am on Episode 6. It has me intrigued enough by the past lives stuff. My complaints though are that I am not sure about either of the MLs. The ML was stalkery early on. The 2ML is kind of possesive but also is like a brother to the FL and she did say she wasn't interested in him that way. Not to mention I felt uncomfortable seeing FL try to kiss the ML. Some humourous moments work some don't. Anyway it's still an easy watch. And I need that.

You can disagree if you want with that still, but carefull you might be blamed for forcing western views on Koreans lol
