I started this drama with no expectations due to some negative comments at the beginning, and I'm so glad I gave it a shot! The drama is getting really good and interesting and I can't wait for more episodes to come out! The beginning was a bit slow in order to build up the characters, setting, and story, but it's getting really addicting now!

It's slower paced, but getting really good! I just binged all the episodes out. The pace will pick up later - just have to be a bit patient! Very similar to the Story of Ming Lan in terms of pacing in my opinion!
I just caught up with all the episodes, and I really really like Zhao Lusi here! Her character is a bit naughty but also brave and smart - she's strong and stands up for herself when she feels unjustified! I really admire her courage, and Zhao Lusi portrays Niaoniao perfectly!

Wu Lei will have more scenes later on, and the female lead will mature too! The first few episodes are just setting the story up and characters up - so we can see what the female lead is going through and why her personality is like this. The drama's pacing is slow, but I think it will pick up next week! You can give it a try maybe after more episodes are out?
