Have yet to start it, but have been waiting for this drama to air! Seeing some comments that do not really like the first four eps, but I'm willing to give it a chance because a lot of dramas that I've seen take a while to get me hooked - like the Untamed and Story of Ming Lan! So I'm excited still to watch <3
I honestly want to watch this but I'm not fond of dramas that has 'law' in it (for the meantime) and I find ZLY…
Princess Agents is really good - but be warned, the ending is very open since they were planning season 2 but it never happened. So if you don't like incomplete endings, maybe skip out on this one.
"Please through all of the let’s keep it in mind that they were people that were really hurt by his statements…
I totally agree with you. Some fans are blindly defending his actions and disregarding the feelings of others who are hurt by his words. It's really ridiculous. I agree on giving second chances of course because everybody makes mistakes, but giving him a hiatus to take time off and reflect on his actions is the RIGHT thing that BOC is doing. There are so many people on twitter that defend his actions blindly without even thinking of the victims of SA and how they feel after seeing his words.
Again, I'm all for second chances and self-improvement because we all do make mistakes. Nobody is perfect. But he does need to be held accountable for his actions.
He said women deserve to get raped because of how they dress and said rape is an opportunity and made racist comments…
Not sure what he said that was racist, but from his apology letter, he apologized for racist comments that he made in the past. I'm thinking he made the racist comments to his friends or something offline - he might not have posted them on media.
I doubt either of the actors had objections since they kissed in ep 4 and it wasn't even one of those awkward…
Totally agree with your comments! My thoughts are the same. The drama followed very closely to the manga. I saw interviews where the actors were very opened to filming BL's, and looked at their roles positively. They definitely did not have a "no kissing men" contract rule as OP had mentioned. Making assuming comments that either actors are homophobic is very demeaning.
I myself would have loved to see a final kiss added into the drama, but they just chose to follow the manga source which is fine too! Still enjoyed it, and it did not take anything away from the drama for me.
I don't know which manga version you read but the one on Mangabuddy, there was no kiss in ep 5. I too wanted to…
Agreed. There was not a kissing scene in chapter 5 of the manga, and the episode followed it closely. Making assumptions like the actors are not willing to kiss the same sex for dramas/movies is not good.

The scene follows the manga exactly where there is an "almost kiss," via the picture sent above. It would have been nice if they added a kiss in the drama at the end of episode 5, but I'm sure the actors did not have a "no kissing man" contract as you mentioned above, because they did kiss in episode 4. It was probably just the writer's decision to follow the manga at that scene instead of adding a final kiss.
Again, it would have been nice if they added the kiss, but there was the "almost kiss" in the manga chapter as well.
If there is a season 2 or a movie sequel, I'm sure we'll get a kiss scene (hopefully).
That last episode was literally so so beautiful... I literally cried happy tears :') Their chemistry is so amazing and super natural... I'm so sad we only get 5 episodes! Hopefully there is a sequel or a special episode or something! Definitely my favorite Japanese BL! I want to see more sweet moments of them!
I liked this drama for the most part! I really do like angst in chinese dramas, but some of the angst here was a bit unnecessary and the leads had so much miscommunication until the last 4-5 episodes, so that was quite annoying. I couldn't stand the way the female lead couldn't be honest at all - I binged the drama though, and overall did like it even if I had a few issues with it - still a decent watch!
Vee and Mark's relationship is far from healthy, but I'm looking forward to them growing together and develop. I usually dislike cheating plots, but this drama is so intriguing... I can't help but root for Mark's happiness even if Vee is a jerk. Excited to see their character developments!!
The thing with Love Mechanics is that from the book to the mini series to the full series, the story is just always…
Everything you said is spot on. The situation is really fucked up, and their relationship right now is far from being healthy, but I keep on watching and being intrigued just to see Vee's character development and rooting for Mark's happiness! The actors are doing a great job at portraying their roles!
I think this drama surpassed Cherry Magic as my favorite Japanese BL... it's just so good. The chemistry is so natural, the kisses are natural, the dialogue is well-written, no cringe moments.. I'm in love ahhh <3

Would love to see a sequel if possible!
