Ep 19 was a very good episode.. Both couples tried with 10 seconds starring at each other test.. it worked..Looks…
LOL, TBH, i don't know exactly what effect/meaning does the 10-sec staring test entails? So, if you can't stare at a person for 10 seconds or more, does it mean you have feelings for that person? Strange that one can't look into the eyes of someone you like!!! I thought only a liar can't look straight into someone's eyes!
Liu xiao yi and coach xiao is so unprofessional especially the coach he's the reason why liu xiao yi is like that…
Unprofessional Coach Xiao is the main cause. He spoilt LXY by his personal attention and misguided her. But it's like monkey see monkey do. Both are simply selfish and greedy for fame and power.
Camera angles are weird... don't what they are trying to do with it but it's not working.
yup, got so exhausted and giddy after watching the market scene in Ep#1. Think the speed was set to run faster than normal cos the actions didn't even slow down after i changed it to 0.5 speed!
i normally don't touch modern dramas based on sports & gaming cos they generally carry too much propaganda on China. We've passed midpoint, thank goodness there isn't any yet.
The title Pretty Man is so misleading. Wouldn't one have thought it as a light fluffy and sweet romance?
But no! Pretty Man 2 is filled with toxicity, turbulence, turmoil and heartbreaks right from the very 1st 10 minutes of Season 2. And the trouble filled life is not only for the main CP, but for the secondary couple as well! Nothing seems to work for them until #26...
Deciding to drop this after watching #1. Was on it for Caesar but seems like this is a poorly directed drama lined up with B or C cast. The actor playing Bao Zhen doesn't have the aura of the infamous Bao Zhen. Zhan Zhao is supposed to be a top class imperial guard and fighter but failed to catch a low class thief. And it's even more ridiculous that a Zhan Zhao could stop in his pursuit just because he tore open a female blouse!
this drama is set at the time of warlords fighting against each other, the cause and fight of the Republican army, and all during the beginning of Japanese espionage and army invasion. Based on history, Japs conquered and ruined the lands they set foot on. So, i doubt there'll be a HEA for all three couples...
This drama is built on ML's appeal to women, not on misunderstanding. His handsomeness and husband material qualities are sought after by many noble ladies. So, you'll expect several women, each scheming to break up the betrothed/ married couple at different stages of storyline.
This drama is one of those very rare ones that the screenwriter/director rewards us viewers with a complete ending and sealing it with a kiss of sweetness and romance.
Can anyone tell me what happened to the bad princess at the end? I’m confused about the ending ..?
Princess Xinning claims she acted on Magistrate's advice and admits her wrongdoings. Emperor being lenient towards her, of course pardons her and punishes her by only grounding in Palace for two years. Whereas he is depriving the Magistrate of his role and duties and sending him to exile.
Ye Changqing becomes very angry with the unfair and severe sentence on him. While Princess Xinning is let off so easily for her wrongdoings, he has to bear the punishment alone.
In his anger, he slashes Xinning hard on her back. Since there is no mention of her in the last nine minutes of finale, we can assume that Xinning has succumbed to the slash injury and dies on the spot.
The only mention of the aftermath is the emperor's pardon of Zhou Junjue. The emperor credits ZJJ for protecting him and absolves all charges.
As you can see in the last nine minutes, Xu Chunchun's dessert business flourishes and her books of dessert recipes sell like hot cakes. Even the Emperor bestows on her a plague.
Now that her dessert business is doing so well to the extent of having a store bigger than her husband's teahouse, Chunchun offers to help her husband achieve whatever ideal/s he still has not achieved.
To this, his sweet reply is her. No matter how calm or turbulent their life will be in the future, he will always remain by her side and let her become the richest person without any worry at all.
Anyone else feeling the same? For me, Red Sleeve is much more funny, interesting & laced with excitement than the slow moving & bland King's Affection. Each TRS ep holds my attention and never miss a scene whereas for TKI, i tend to speed it up to get it over and done with...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xoRS20PVolYIf you're a fan of Kim Ga On (bodyguard) Just watch this. I AM SO DEAD.…
yeah, he's quite a visual in Produce X101. Too bad he didn't reach the milestone, but sure glad to see him progressing here...
With a tall, dark & mysterious persona, Choi Byungchan is certainly quite mesmerizing & captivating attention. It's only a supporting role, can't imagine the attention he'll get when he's cast as the main in a wuxia drama.
The synopsis is incorrect and exaggerating...
I'm skipping PM1 and will start PM2 instead.
