Somehow Ao Rui Peng looks so similar to Dylan Wang. There’s just certain angles that it kept reminding me of…
Yup, happy & lighthearted story with not many evil scheming doers in the background. Everyone performed well. Love everything - their mom, the love adviser Xiang Weilin, the two couples, the CP chemistry and sweet moments; and most of all the characters in the story especially the calm & clear headed ML! ^__^
why have we been getting BE recently?! Can't they give us something happy to gloat over during this hard time of CV19!!! Any latest drama with blissful ending?
Guess it's the culture to address oneself by own name instead of I this, I that. So, in royal conversation, you'll hear the royalties and high ranking officials starting the conversation with Zhen, Ben Gong, Ben Wang, Ben Hou, Ben Fei, Ben Jun, etc... Think this is done in kdramas too.
this is one of those very rare dramas that Leo gets his dream girl and live happily ever after! Correct me please if i'm wrong. The xxx are still angled shots but this time round, it's FL who isn't doing her part.
Beauty is indeed in the eyes of beholder. For me, this actor in a period costume cut is not at all. He'll probably…
so sad for his sacrifice and unreciprocated love.
In future, i'll prep myself ahead for sad ending to his romances be it first ML or second. As seen in all his past performances and finished projects, i can't remember him having a happy ending!!! Even in his most recent one, it's not just a sad or cliffhanger but he left in an ultra explosive way!
Can't help but think he has laid down some kinda rule to cut kissing scene or to improvise with fake/angled shots if necessary; and to always end his role with NO happyeverafter!
This story started out so promising, VERY promising, if I may add. And that promise continued into the first 23…
Beauty is indeed in the eyes of beholder. For me, this actor in a period costume cut is not at all. He'll probably look dashing in modern contemporaries but not in his stiff comb back ancient look! I actually dreaded watching his scenes which were stiff and lacked emotions.
Going into the drama cold, i had at first thought Leo Luo was the ML! Wished that he's the ML instead of that woody khan. As always, Leo delivered his role so well that i felt
I just want to tell my personal opinion that the ending though is not satisfying makes sense. In love in real…
Yes, i'd rather he leave FL for good since he'll be forever in guilt towards his first love Tao'er as he didn't remain true to her as promised when she actually died for him. Also, the old Tao'er hasn't perished yet or has she died totally in that black mist???
TBH, I can't help but think of Leo having set some kind of no kissing or no happyeverafter kind of ending to all his romances. One can tell that those few kissing scenes are all fake and angle shots!
If he is the ML, was that a kiss-after-death or a revival kiss at the finale? Leo must have set some kind of no kissing or no happyeverafter kind of ending to his romances. Else why then was he shown seriously injured or "dying" in his attempt to wake/revive Alice? Such a cliffhanger!

LOL, those flowers look like the Phoenix flower used in Ashes of Love!
