I raised the question before, but don't think there was any reply yet. Anyone out there who has read the adaptation novel "Jian Qi Hang" (剑器行) by Fei Hua (飞花)? Please help spoil to me the ending of the novel. Thanks
I think this one, The promise of Changan is not bad but it is even more frustrating
i did watch TRoC just to catch Chengyi's acting and regretted doing so. His lifetime filled with betrayal, loneliness, heart wrenching sadness was too much for me...
Yes, finally i found someone who going to comment this . So i just wanna say I was so happy that I watch this…
I first got to know RZ in RoT&R but the drama & CP didn't appeal to me... I double speed run through DitK cos the ML looked too old for her. I watched LBTI because of Long Ballad. RZ was good in Long Ballad. So after LB, i searched for her other dramas and found LBTI. It was quite interesting for me ^__^ Have yet to start "Please Feel At Ease, Mr Ling" cos two guys after RZ plus sabotage from 3rd guy story not for my liking... But I'm all excited for Who Rules The World - can't imagine YY with RZ after "you are my glory"!
This is my first drama of Ji Sung and he is supremely good at his craft! His acting has taken this series to a…
If you enjoy Ji Sung's performance here, you'll enjoy watching "Defendant" even more. As always, JS is good in all his different roles, but i didn't quite like the story & FL character in Dr John.
Gosh, think it's been a few episodes already since i started switching to double speed whenever Gaon comes on. I would have dropped this drama if not for my fav Ji Sung aka Kang Yohan.
Correct me if i'm wrong but i do believe the term "Ye Ye" used by Commander Wang is his expression of devoted affection for his beloved leader. QZL is not Commander Wang's grandfather. QZL has adopted many sons and one known daughter (Yanzhi). NO grandson.
#17 @32:17 Commander Wang actually said " if anything happens to Ye Ye..", but Subs added an extra "my" to "if anything happens to MY grandfather..."
As for the dialogue at around 43:20, i do think she spoke in jest to ridicule Wang that she is imagining Wang's facial expression after she gets QZL out of the trap and request QZL to command Wang to call her Mother.
To me, this is one example of how confusing and meaningless some dialogue can be; TBH, i don't really see the need for it or understand its purpose... Or maybe something prior happened but got edited and so the dialogue doesn't seem to connect...
Can somebody explain why there is this guy calling eunuch Qiu ‘grandfather’?
Guess the screenwriter's attempting to be different from other costume dramas, just like the unusual salutations used in "Serenade of Peaceful Joy"!
Anyway, that Eunuch is also an adopted son. So, he didn't say Ye Ye (grandfather), but only one word "Ye". It's like a formal salutation but on closer term, like - Lau Ye, minus the Lau (old), Or - Guan Ye, minus the Guan (commander, master...)
alright, so this is a 49 parter but at this pace... it's already 23, yet storyline seems to be going everywhere but not progressing anywhere. It's like one step forward and two steps backward... As much as i love watching Cheng Yi and like him being paired with Zhang Xuyi... Wasn't Prince An with Guang? Yet he ended up in QZL camp? It's like screenwriter trying to build up mystery after mystery but it wasn't followed through or somehow dropped or it was edited and snipped off...
