it's a fact that not one palace court drama can depict the true historical events of ancient Chinese reign. All palace court dramas are fictitious and in most recent times, will not bear the true names of the historical figures. You should be reading up historical bios instead.

Yup, agreed that the drama should have ended with that bamboo hut scene... Honestly, still can't understand nor can i accept the clingy and sissy vibes from ML.

Agreed! TBH i already felt it and lost interest right from #5. Also got bored with FL saintly character and that prideful confidence like always being able to resolve issues each time it pops up, one after another...

think all C sponsors fund Cdramas with the intention of making big bucks out of ads and commercials during screening time. That's why the drama runs a stretch of not less than 30 epis. Hence, we see a lot of unnecessary fillers created by misunderstanding, etc...

(for me) ZH looks better in If Paris Downcast, but both dramas also showed him in such bittersweet love, Love his OST, nice song.

They appear briefly in some scenes, like when she was first brought back to Mo Manor. Shown in some scenes only.

am i the only one who thinks that Cdramas are always one of their propaganda tools? Don't think the director is in any way ignorant but probably following some unspoken rules/guidelines...

haha, Prince Jin is the only one without any servants cos he has sent away all his servants after paying them their wages. Mo Qingchen's manor is filled with many servants and maids.
