TBH, I started LoTY just for RZ because I wanted more after finishing Love Better Than Immortality. I probably expected LoTY to be more alluring, if not better, than LBTI. To my disappointment,
LOL is the lead coupling really in love with each other? Or are they in a platonic relationship? I don't feel their love for each other. Do you?
What was that all about in the finale? Scriptwriter making us hopeful of something with the 15 minutes of Kyung Soo and Young Shin deep in thought for each other?
Right from Ep#1, we can tell which direction this drama is heading towards, and by #2 the three common bases used to build the storyline into a 56-parter - jealousy & envy, a scheming heart and most of all misunderstanding!
Just started on L&R. Now on #3. L&R definitely gives a better feel and much more alluring than ALP. At least i don't feel frustrated seeing self conceited dumblass digging own grave to pitfall.
felt so frustrated from #32. Luckily i've already watched the finale before embarking on this story. Was so vex by 2ML that i almost wanted to drop the rest, but ploughed on for pitiful Shangguan Qiuyue.
Wow, LHY sure has many projects on the table still waiting for release or production. Really like his acting here. Hope to see more of his latest soon!
yup, it's a cheap production with many plot holes or disconnectivities and nothing great about the fighting choreo. Despite all those, i ploughed on to watch Kelly Yu, her medic and two "flying charriots"!
I can't be the only one who feels uncomfortable watching this show right?
hi Eli, actually FL kinda suspect they are not real siblings already. Contrary to what you described, this drama isn't flooded with many kissing or intimate scene in every episode... It's nothing compared to The Eternal Love series. Cheers!
Sure glad i didn't invest much time on this! While it's too lengthy for an action drama, episode #43 is such a letdown and the last 5 minute was quite ridiculous. CCTV control room left empty?
maybe it's just me finding it so, but ML seems to have put on much weight by the end of the series. In the beginning, he looks suave, lean and mean at his first appearance. But by #43, his face looks puffy and body not so lean... Somehow, Damon Guo looks much better...

Woah, from your shoutout review above, i can feel your heartfelt frustration and wrath with this tragic story!
