in the book it happened when they were 6 yrs old so it was very reasonable to make them adoptive siblings, bc…
OIC, maybe they couldn't find a suitable child actress to play 6yr old Xiaowu... So they change the age in the drama but not the relationship in the beginning:)
After 9th episode I find something that annoyed me about the drama... It's BGM... Who the hell is the music director...he…
yup. Don't know if it's just me or not, but i find some of the BGM makes the show seem like a cheap production, that is they do everything right but failed to budget for good BGM...
i quite like this drama up to #8 until Ou SiKe's nonsensical chattering about his playwriting... It's like non stop and over than a minute, which seems to be included in the drama just to kill time so as to fill the gaps in that eipsode...
Why did I start this with only 6 episodes subbed? It'll probably be another year before I see the other 18.
Was about to embark on this but thought i come for spoilers first. Thanks for reminding me on what I've previously told myself not to kickstart any Jdrama before all episodes are subbed.
Besides the fact that Subbing of jdrama takes ages, it is only one epi per week!
the age in the above synopsis doesn't match the actor's look and height. "... he was sent to Ruoding Academy, at the age of six, to begin pursuing his dream of becoming a great soul master." Sean Xiao may be young but how can he be passed off as six years old? Sixteen yes, but six years old????
Huh?? Same goes for cha eunwoo fans who only give this a high rating because its him and not because of the story…
As i've stated in previous comments, to each his her own liking and preference. What i'm trying to point out is that if a drama really does do well, it's all for the good of everyone casted in it... Nothing personal ^-^
i don't normally want to embark on 120-long series before its finale is aired, but because of dry ckdrama well, i launched A Good Supper to kill the void. Lo and behold, this drama kicked off so interestingly well with such good child actors that i binge watched the show until #8... (^-^)
