so isn't that extremely unfair? So Yong only hid behind Bonghwan's decisions and takes the credit for it when…
"Takes credit for it" ??? Believe So Yong is an outspoken person too, who dares to speak her mind, straightforward, brave and acts on her own. She tried to end her life not because she's tired of life in palace but she was disappointed she's a pawn in the courts battle for power and that the king didn't love her.
Coming out of a heavy drama and need something sweet and fluffy. Is this drama romance-filled and without unnecessary…
It's not as hilarious as Mr Queen, but quite funny & humourous. The drama revolves mostly on Ban Hua's sweet romance with Rong Xia, while royalty and power hungry officials pit against each other.
Salute @Major. Just finished #35. Looks like this drama will end off with the Continental Elite Tournament (CET) where Bibi Dong is hosting. So, hopefully everything will be clarifed at the denouement by then.
From yr input, this S1 is a 2018 production, and S2 is only rumoured at planning & nothing conclusively beyond that. Thankfully, this S1 is released only now in 2021. If the screenwriter were to give S1 #40 finale a twisted and cliffhanger closure, we don't have to wait too long for a new beginning in S2...
For people slandering actors here this is my take:One way to measure impact is to measure reaction. Some negative…
Excuse me please but i don't quite understand your statement "If you are making 100% of the people happy, then you are not making enough of an impact."
And yet again Netflix recommends another Kdrama! I enjoy them, and this one too (so far). I haven't seen an English…
Todate, i still wonder what non Asians see in Asian dramas! My first foreign drama 2002 Winter Sonata didn't get me hooked. Not even 2003 Stairway to Heaven. What got me addicted was 2004 Full House. Although still catching Cold Case, CSI, Criminal Minds. Grimm, Lost and The Mentalist.., but as days went by, it's kdrama and nothing else! I watched kdramas because it's close to reality in my part of the world. But for Caucasians, Europeans and non Asians, why do you watch kdramas?
OK you asked for it lol--yes she is a 100k yr SB and can talk to Er/Da Ming because they certainly have intellect…
Salute Major! Many thanks for all the info. Excuse me please for my many qs. #1> Do you know which year was this Douluo Continent S1 filmed? #2> Although there's a MDL page posted for DC S2, there's no info in there. Does that mean S2 is not even in the planning or filming yet? #3> Just finished Ep# 33. Think two more rounds of challenge to Final Round. Is this the Continental Elite Tournament (CET) you mentioned above? Or is CET part of S2 content? #4> Last question but most important>>> When when when can we see Tang San discover his love for Xiao Wu is not kinship? Thank you very much in advance
some scenes in Ep#20 are quite absurd: a bunch of people with reporters/cameramen budging into a CEO's office. KSY can be stunned so many times within a few minutes! And why is ML walking up the slope of carpark, carrying KSY? Can't he wait for his chauffered car?
Hmmm... i wasn't expecting much as i only just chanced upon the subbed Ep#1. I find the opening scene at the railway station a bit ridiculous with so many people going after the FL and surrounding her but she escaped even when there's a drone hovering above?!
Jo SeungWoo has been one of my fav since Stranger, and was surprised that he's also a musical actor. Probably because of his previous role in Stranger, i found his acting a little unnatural in this drama. I didn't get that awkwardness when i watched his other project - Fengshui.
For all those who think that So Yong's soul was not in her body at all, please look up Ep #20 @46:45. So Yong has been inside her own body all this while, just that her soul went in hiding under Bong Hwan's, ie she let JBH take charge while she hid behind his profile ^-^
I registered for MDL just so I can rate this a 10/10.This show is the only one with fantasy genre drama that came…
yup, totally agreed with you on all points raised. And yes, it's such a classic that i will definitely laugh all over again in my rewatch and probably again many years later.
For those who disagree that the screenwriter wrapped up the drama very nicely after looking into all odds and ends, probably missed the main theme of this drama and overlooked JBH's desire to return to his own world.
who's that girl in the cave with Xiao Yan? Can't be His beloved, right? Did you see how she put his head down…
His beloved? Can't be! The way she plonked his head down! He's not even dead yet! How could a beloved be so uncaring and leaving his/her dying person alone and to die a lonely death!!!
