Why would you shoot someone you think kidnapped your son? Then you have zero chance of ever getting him back.
yes, weird indeed... too many interplots and holes that i can't even remember some of them already... Like he's killed someone in his bedroom but i can't remember who that was...
Frankly, i've given up all hopes for GOOD acceptable plot twist for such genres or any cdrama. Not expecting any so i don't get upset by its disappointing closure. Played out by too many already...
24 epi covering only two cases - 1st 18 on Case#1 and last 6 on #2. Quite draggy at certain point for both cases. Sad ending for both criminals who didn't get to complete what they set out to achieve... Really hated Captain Lin for the unfortunate outcome of YangYang...
The Burning River is being uploaded and subbed with very rough and not polished subs for now on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unEXYxkqaWc&feature=emb_logoAnother…
thanks very much for the RBAA link. The videos in Dramacool from ep 9 onwards do not launch...

thanks, yes aware of the three timelines. Just that the way they describe the "IT" as though it's such a formidable force but, yet so easily taken down in TOTS, and in Reunion, the Wangs are just mercenaries working for money...

Here in Ultimate Note, they kept on talking about IT...
But in Tomb of the Sea, Wu Xie and gang seems to have clashed with Wang family and seem to have won over them... or maybe not., and in this series Pan Zi died while saving WuXie... right? But strangely there's no one listed as Pan Zi in MDL cast listing.
In Reunion, there wasn't much emphasis on Wang clan or its leader except that they were the ones hired by Boss Jiao &/or Er Jing. And Er Jing was the badass in Reunion S2 final showdown. But here in Ultimate Note, they kept talking about IT and IT being Wang clan... Yes? Or did i remember wrongly!
By ep 8 preview, looks like king has much deeper interest in the Queen, while Jang BongHwan's Queen with the queen's memories in him is now swooning over the King... And that's why JBH queen is telling her to go away!!!
Is it just me? Didn't read any comment here about underlying bromance interest building up in Ep 7. Seems Hong ByulGam (Lee JaeWob) has a special interest in Kim Hwan, while Queen's maid Hong Yeon admires ByulGam... Am i reading too much into it?
Watched the very first episode:It's.... eh? Good story concept so farThe actors are fine. Nothing amazing but…
thanks for the observations. Agreed on the fighting choreo. Think the fightng/stunt director likes to emphasize his portion and so unnecessary pauses... For me, opening scene must entice me to watch further. Dropping this.
Ok so the story sounds good but............ Ugly casts and horrible fighting, really hard to bear. The quality…
thanks for the tip. Caught the first 15 min of Ep 1 and didn't like it, esp ML Cai Jun Tao. Bad opening makes me think the drama pace will be slow. Unnecessary pause to emhasize swordfighting choreo...
They could have ended it at 22 but had to drag it to add drama with mass firing squad to massacre police force! Is this really necessary? Or are they really acting it out to depict the life of civilians in warlord days???
