yup, very annoyingly disappointing.. Can guess the direction this plot is taking. Also, this is wrongly tagged with Smart FL. FL thinks she's smart and can outwit the villains! In many instances, she can't even keep a poker face and control her emotions, eg her reaction upon looking at her mom's pendant in Xu manor. Stopped @ #10 and will catch finale later. Cheers!

This should also be tagged with Overconfident female lead. But then again, that's how the heroine portrays herself in all the dramas that Xu Lu is in.

Of all the productions that Wei Zhe Ming is in, he has the most horrific hairdo here. Even Tian Hao and Shen Zi Shan's plain lock of hair looks so much better than General Xu!

Don't think this is prevalent in my country anymore. Maybe it's still the traditional culture and norm of Chinese / Asian parents to want to see their children settling down and expanding their family tree.
