i personally don't like dramas with travel back in time or wormhole transfer to novel /game etc. So I'm watching this for SYR cos she's the only visual i like. Correct me if i'm wrong, but IMO the female lead character here is supposed to have a cute bubbly and witty personality, which is why SYR is casted for the role.
Based on his profile photos, DZR does look handsome in modern times, but not so awesome as Ji Chu in this period drama... Either his look is not suitable for period or it could be due to low production budget with average stylist... Even the 2ML crown prince is not shining in terms of look... Both 1ML & 2mL were made to look awful at times when two poorly styled hair strand dangled on each side... 3ml wasn't spared the ugliness either...
Also, hopefully this drama will not be affected by the controversies surrounding DZR in 2022...
Wasn't PYA's father against Xunuo and wanted PYA to break off with Xunuo and to marry the rich girl? What happen between PYA and his biz partner GF? Did she leave him?
i haven't started this but took a peek at ep.15 to find out if it appeals to me. Have yet to dive deep into the story, but I must say i immediately fell in love with the music and song that came on at 06:29. Anyone knows who's the singer? He sounds old but nice.
cos she was deeply in love with city husband and still is. So how could she love another man, even if he has the same face and spoke the same keywords...
Also, Joseon Taeha with his heart condition is destined to die young. Screenwriter saved FL from going through a 2nd time of losing a husband...
However, i do agree with other viewers that Joseon Taeha shouldn't be made to feel so wretched and miserable in his last breathing moment of an already tragic lifetime. Felt such sadness watching him suffering till his sad departure.

I must add this is the 1st time i did what i did with a finale episode. That shows the level of appeal it has for me!
