Its drama, that single word should be more than enough hint. and that formula of down and out girl meets successful…
I respect the east Asian culture and i am fine with a succesful man getting the girl, but do they have to make every girl and every guy the same way over and over again? They could try something new because right now most dramas are about a pitiful girl with a lot of problems finding mister perfect. In my opinion some great examples of something new are shows like "Just between lovers" , "because this is my first life" or "go back couple".
I know that the target group of those type of shows are women but come on. Do they have to make every single story like this? I watch Korean shows for about 5 years and most of the time its the same story. Pitiful girl - handsome, succesful man and a bit of a triangle with onother handsome and sweet guy that without even knowing the lead, he is falling in love with her. It was ok for a while, but it starts to annoy me. I really love romantic comedies, especially the korean ones, but i wish they could focus more on the realistic aspects of a relationship and not much on what the writers think that women are fantasizing about. But anyway, we all know that i am not going to stop watching these type of shows cause i am addicted. So, i ll just shut up and enjoy.
I still REALLY enjoyed watching. I can do't disagree with your comments. I just do not feel as strongly. I do…
I enjoyed watching the drama as well, but it had so much potential that I have to judge the show based on what it could have been and not on what it is.
When this got started I said it had the potential to be one of the best rom-coms, but boy was I disappointed. So much wasted opportunities with this one. First of all the romance was awkward. It was like the writers wanted to put romance but they didn't know how to make the transition from the dead husband to terius, so they decided to put some cute moments that implied romance and that's it. Furthermore, the characters were sloppy, especially the villains. For me nothing they did was justifiable. Last but not least how could they not put a good "reveal" moment in this drama. In every show with hidden identity there has to be an epic "reveal" moment like in healer, where everyone gets surprised. The comedy and the kids were the only good part of the show along with the actors( they were amazing but the writing was terrible). Anyway, I may seem harsh, but its only because the potential for something epic was there.
I am not trying to support him ar anything. I dont even know him. It just happened to see a lot of mean comments in the comment section and then i search about his story. My point is not to defend this guy but not to hate on him when you cant`t be sure what exactly happened. Since his ex-girlfriend seems to be a bit crazy, i have to give him the benefit of the doubt. I am not supporting him, but i am not gonna judge him either.
I recently read the story of the main actor and how he wrongly accused of abusing his ex-girlfriend leading to a miscarriage. Then i read a lot of harsh comments about him here and on his MDL profile.
Most people morally disapprove and condemn an abuser( and thats how it should be) but they fail to understand the damage a fake roumor can cause. That woman, who even lied in the court, almost destroyed his career, his image and his place to society as a human being.
My point is not to be ignorant and biased, especially with such delicate issues. Before you accuse someone, read everythink related to the topic and even if your are 100% sure still try to be humble, cause starting a fake roumor is a form of abuse as well. We have the right to state our opinion, but we should do it with the proper manner and responsibillity.
I just finished watching the 10 episodes of this show i have to say that i am really impressed. The plot is as simple as it could get and at a first glance it seems as a typical chaebol cliche romance, which is partialy true. But there is something that makes this show great and unpredictable and that is the characters and the dialogues. The interactions between the characters are intresting, hilarious and something you are looking forward to watch in every episode. The dialogues are flirty and witty. Furthermore, the second couple is the most instresting couple ive ever saw in a drama. Not to mention the fact that there is not uneccessaty triangles. P.S. I cant help falling in love with Kang Sa Ra so i wish her a happy ending. So lets change his name to Eun we Hope.
Its true that they handled the whole husband part terrible but still in my opinion her character makes sense.…
Well, yeah the term "failed marriage" was too harsh, especially when we saw both of them trying their best. Its just, the way the handled the situation with her husband i got the feeling like they respect and love each other but not in a romantic way anymore.
I know a lot of people have been really disturbed about how Go Ae Rin's character easily moved on from her husband,…
Its true that they handled the whole husband part terrible but still in my opinion her character makes sense. It was obvious since the first episode that both of them were unhappy with their lifes and that the marriage had failed. I felt like their feelings were gone long time ago and since she has children to raise its not that unrealistic to move on. But for sure they could find a better way to handle the whole situation.
This show is killing me softly and slowly. I dont know if it is because i like the hidden identity concept a lot, but i cant wait to see more of the interactions between them. And by "them" i mean between everyone cause the cast is great. I`ve watched a lot of korean dramas already since the moment i got immersed in the k-drama culture but its the first time i cant wait for a new episode.
I like the drama a lot but tell me there is going to be a reason for his superpower, cause just a bionic arm cant justify how he can have so much strenght. He stopped a flying car like it was nothing.
The first 2 episodes are great. That`s exactly how you make your audience curious about the plot and about the characters. They way they set up the romance is phenomenal as well. All i need now is not onother love triangle and a justifiable reason about his arm. I hope its some kind of superpower cause even if its ironic its the most reasonable solution right now.
This has one of the best endings in the drama world and a lot of great characters with actual development. The last words had a huge impact on me, because they describe the peculiar world we live in really well: "They say, when one door to happiness closes, onother door to happiness opens up for you. But many of us are only focused on the closed door and don`t even realize that another door has opened up. Perhaps, the other door to happiness might not be something grand or special. Perhaps, the small and trivial things that look insignificant are the other door to happiness."
I dont care about the evil characters to be honest when the two main leads and Hoya showed up on screen I just…
I do like their chemistry a lot as well but that alone is not something that can make me overlook the overuse of nonsensical characters like the doctor, the aunt or the CEO. But well, its a fact that different people will like different things.
