Waste of potential
I have mixed emotions about this drama. No shade to the lead actress, but I didn't like her character at all. I think it's more the writer's fault than hers. Kim Dal was always crying and although there is an effort to talk about her mental health issues and the sense of guilt she experiences, it's just hard to believe because of the inconsistency with which the plot treats her character.
The star is Kim Min Gue, who shines as a sweet, naive character with a heightened sense of morality that makes him charmingly funny. Anyway, the story is a bit of a mess, questions are left unanswered in the last chapter, the ending is extremely rushed, and... what a shame that a drama about a K-pop band has such unmemorable music.
