Totally agreed. Hated her character more than the villains. But atleast one thing I liked is first thing she did was apologizing to her son. In real life that would have been so healing for anyone form abusive family. Also I liked her last letter. That was also healing to see how she understood everything she did wrong to her son. My point is I liked that they didn't try to give her redemption only by showing her "true" intentions behind her abuse. They actually made her apologize and realise what she did.

May be because I've been in position of both Kang Ho and Mi Joo I understand both of their actions. If I indeed wanted to revenge the people who hurt me I'd have completely separated myself from my loved ones. I am also very forgiving (probably why I never went after revenge) so I can guarantee the way and with the intensity Mi Joo loved him, she would have forgiven him even if he said a simple sorry. Because sometimes that is how strong love becomes.

I totally agree with you. However the only thing I liked about her was the moment he got better the first thing she does was asking for his apology. Coming from an emotionally neglectful household, that was healing to watch for me. Also in the last few episodes it feels really sad. Unless it is too triggering, I hope you watch it completely. Lee Do Hyun is phenomenal in this drama.
