If you had paid attention to the episode Duration written below the number of episodes here, you wouldn't have been confused. Hence we conclude if the episode duration is about 50 mins on viki then yes two episodes are combined to make one.
This was the strangest thing I've watched in my life. If this is really adapted from a manga, then the director has excelled in applying it on the ground, and the two Mainleads too. And if it is not a manga, then this will make it even more strange. I can't believe how many times I stopped at every internal talk by Oumi Michan to take screenshots so I could go back and memorize every word. The extent of the impact this series left on me me is strange and unusual, the Japanese are really adept at how to diliver a huge amount of feelings to you so that you keep choking with sadness while watching. No it Means they are people with high standards for the shows they watch. This makes others trust their opinion more.. We expect from a movie/series to be entertaining or at least to keep the interest in us burns till the end and worth our time. sometime We need awful ones so we recognize a good one when we see it. In the end they are a reflection of someone's personal taste and nothing wrong in that.
Writing negative reviews does not necessarily mean that they have set very high expectations and were disappointed, they just pointed out the weaknesses or bad points they saw. I found smth stupid then it's stupid. It doesn't necessarily mean that i put high expectations on it to be smart or clever. But this is what I discovered when observing or watching it, it may be with or without expectations that do not concern you. I think You have a conceptual problem that needs to be corrected.
Also I usually find people like you who come here specifically to read reviews after they have finished watching a series, setting high expectations to see everyone agree with them, and they are quickly affected and shocked by opinions that contradict their expectations, and they become frustrated. So it is you who place high expectations on them,.... NOT THEM.
very boring. I was struggling to reach to the eleventh episode and then I just couldn't stand it and dropped it. If i didn't then i think i can take a whole 2 months or more just to finish it . I know the director wanted it to be exactly like the book/novel but I couldn't endure the low pace. My mind is so consumed by watching several series in the category of police, mystery and psychopaths simultaneously that I need a break and to watch something that I do not put any mental effort on.

" ... ;)) So if you are i suggest you Try and watch NOT ME, or at least any Korean drama (not necessarily bl) i think you will change your mind.
