Originally picked up as my first 50ep drama, since i can't really watch long ones, but i liked Kim So Eun and Song Jae Rim in WGM, so i thought it would be enough reason to enjoy this. Ooooh boy, i was so wrong.
That one episode pissed me off like nothing else in a very long time. Family members like a hella annoying circus, SJR's character was the biggest jerk on Earth and after how he talked to/humiliated/behaved towards her, KSE's character was even considering continue that relationship... like no, thank you. I know the drama is probably all about character-development and with that the development of our relationship, but i can't watch this suffering for 50 episodes.
And that kiss... it was honestly one of the most awkward thing i've seen in my dramaland-history.
I guess if someone like 50episode and family dramas, maybe like this one too, but its definitely not a good piece to start with...
Oh also like Anna's character, she is smart(!) and melancholy - which is my jam, but Yoona... girl, you have to convince me a little bit more and better with that acting.
Best scenes for me yet: 1. umbrella scene, 2. church scene where Anna sung Amazing Grace, 3. the Cloud Nine Room…
This. Yess.
That frickin' ramen dance was the accurate representation of me when i accidently find some noodles in the kitchen. And its not ROMANTIC at all. I mean it is... for me and my ramen only.
Omg I love this drama so much and I'm starting everyone of my comments on this drama by this. Eps 9 &…
Please just use the spoiler-option when you write about what happened in the episodes. Be considerate to the ones who haven't seen them yet...
Ep10's subs hasn't came out yet, so its quite a few people.
You now you are a -baaaad- uni student when you watch the "plastic bag on the ears" part and just thinking "Wait a minute. This shit is frickin' genius."
That beginning scene with high quality trash talking about how he likes to drink solo is getting repetitive. Seriously,…
I actually love those scenes really much. Its not that repetitive since he always eat/drink something else, and i find it oddly satisfying watch him eating those frickin delicious lookin food.
/ I think it's also a reminder that this drama is a spinoff of Let's Eat, it has a same "eating scenes with classical music"-theme. /
After episode 2 i think it will be a rather slow-pacing but beautiful drama with a deep emotional level. It might sounds strange, but it will be perfect for autumn tho? I'm looking forward watching it with a good hot tea, under my blanket while its rainy outside.
I feel like it will be a drama that just warms up your soul. :)
Damn this Wei Wei and Yang Yang would have been an epic Drama.I 'm not saying the other wei wei was bad ( she…
So true. It traumatized me to the point i couldn't watch another episode since that first kiss-scene. And it was a week ago. If i close my eyes, i'm still seeing hers, wide open, not a blink - while Yan Yang tries his best working on that kiss for a whole goddamn minute. Sigh... Recovery is slow...
I just had to saw the main leads in the cast and i was immediately in. I love every single one of them. So many talented people in one show, this can't be bad.
Give me the feelz, folks!
Eric Nam and Can't Help Myelf (with his dabbing).
Its that phase of an obsession when you are subconsciously start humming it when you are peeing, drying your hair, making a toast and every goddamn 4am when you still can't sleep. Damn, Eric.
I basically agree with your review in every single point. :)
I see you struggled with the ratings as well :D I actually gave it a 5.5 first, then i just remembered the only other Chinese romcom i watched (The Rise of a Tomboy) that was so bad i haven't even put it on my completed list... i had to give this one at least 6. :D

Now here i am crying like a baby...

You just cheer for them, laugh at them and cry with them.
It was brilliant.
