also i would like to remind you that the main cast of the original drama was also full of fairly new faces and only-played-supporting-roles-before actors, and look how well that turned out :) i'm actually glad they didn't choose the "popular" actors you mentioned, its time for the new faces to shine.
Well, its a hella mess so far. This director usually operates with a lot of relationship- and character development, also a lot of amazing supporting characters, but i have a feeling that this 10 episodes won't be enough for doing them properly. Already feels rushed, like these scenes was cut out from at least 4 or 6 episodes and squeezed into 2. I mean, really, they barely know each other (talk like three times, not even on good terms), yet he follows her home (twice), already go for a "you can cry in front of me"- speak and a kiss? Calm yo tits, boy. Still love the sense of humor tho, and the acting is on point too.
Last year I started watching Sweet Stranger and Me because of ma girl-crush Soo Ae, and ended up with a new crush, HIM. :) I didn't expected anything from him but his acting was so good, my mind was blown, so since then i'm rooting for him to get more main (and good) roles. He was even better in Lookout, so i hope he get the attention he really deserves for his work. And oh boy, he is sooo fine...

Well... the ending was disappointing. Not because the most complicated and well-played character died (IF he died), but because it was done so poorly. Like somehow some important scenes just disappeared in the cutting-room and never made it into the last 2 episode. It was rushed, illogical (compared to the rest of the show) and feels incomplete.
I honestly feel like they did this for having a show a somewhat decent ending (which was not) but also for a potential second season. They left so many windows open: what happened to Shi Wan, who and why is after the team (again) and we have never seen or hear somebody saying out loud Do Han ACTUALLY died. So i'm kinda hopeful, but also the ratings weren't that good, and if Lee Shi Young's pregnant she can't do a second season soon.
I really loved the show for most part, but the last 1 hour was just... meh.

I would recommend Marriage Not Dating, Falling for Innocence (this one has some melo in it towards the end, but still hilarious), Witch's Romance or Warm and Cozy! :)
