Dramaland barely ever makes sense in a working environment. I think that's why most people cannot watch dramas that correlate to their professional field, it just makes you cringe lol One other thing that annoys me when they treat a wound in dramas, is 'blowing air on the wound to make it better'. Especially AFTER disinfecting. I mean, what's the point of disinfecting a wound when you're gonna blow contaminated air and spit on it afterwards? It even happens in some medical dramas and I'm like: That's First Aid 101, just DON'T. *facepalm*

I started this drama with no expectation. I just finished happiness and look for another drama to watch. MAN.…
You should watch Ho Go's love if you haven't already. He was perfect for that role also.

Watching for the second time in like 2 months because it's so beautiful and healing. It's a story about special moments in life and taking a breath and time to step back and think: 'Is this it? Is this really want I want?' I think the first half of the series is still the best and made me question so many things. The second half is also good, but it's missing a little bit of the spark from the beginning, as everything comes together. It's also a lot sadder. All in all, I rate it a 9/10. Beautiful!

They were dating for about 5 years. I think from age 19-24. And met 5 years after the break up. They are now 29…
yes, that's right. The second episode is titled '1,792 days of summer'. It's a reference to the movie 500 days of summer, and the days also stand for how long they've been dating. Their times together just felt like summer, carefree and fun, no matter the season. 1792 days divided by 365= 4,9 years in a relationship, so they broke up just before their 5th anniversary.

unfortunately I think it's a straight love triangle and he has a crush on Yeon Soo. When he saw her in the neighborhood in that first episode he immediately rushed after her. He pays a lot of attention to her. He has been best friends with Ung since they were little kids, so he must be torn.

First, it's a surprisingly good show that has warmth and humor and doesn't rely on the characters being drunk…
You should watch reply 1997, Eun Ji is hilarious in that drama. All the reply-series are sort of one of a kind and a tad bit crazy, just like this drama here. Highly recommend! And Han Sun Hwa has a great role in Marriage, Not Dating. A romcom I come back to every now and then. The beginning seems somewhat typical, but there's a lot of twists that make the characters move lovable later on. Hope you give those two a shot, they're great!

The whole point of the drama is how they have a developed friendship over drinks. It’s pretty wholesome and…
I strongly recommend you to give this show another shot. The first three episodes, while funny, seemed a bit too out of it and I was constantly like: 'they're insane', and 'this is too much'. But from episode 4 or 5 on, it becomes so much more, we learn about their past and why they became the way they are. Just be ready to shed a tear or two. This drama reminds me very much of 'Age of Youth' and 'Because this is my first Life' in the latter episodes.

I've been having a hard time lately and I was looking for a slice-of-life that would cheer me up. Little did I know I was gonna end up crying nearly every episode. But through all the hardships and all the pain, their friendship and spirit really shines. It's not easy to find a drama that's so realistic and so out-of-this-world at the same time. I think the shorter episode format really helped to keep things interesting all the way through, but it's not the only reason why this is the only new drama I've enjoyed in a while. The writing and the stories and the editing and directing are all very interesting, the acting is fantastic of course, and the comedy balances out the heartbreaking twists and turns of this drama. I am a huge fan and eagerly awaiting season 2. Also, for everyone wondering, there is definitely romance in this, but it's not a typical romantic comedy, and it's not what this show revolves around. 9.5/10 from me for this gem.

so i started to watch this because of minhyuk and i at first i thought it was going to be a cute and simple drama…
It's definitely not a happily-ever-after romance, but it's a very realistic portrayal of human relationships, their vices and virtues. It's about growing-up, making mistakes, letting go. It's about acceptance. I have to say I rarely enjoy K-dramas these days, too much unnecessary drama and drawn out series and the romcoms are usually either too dramatic or TOO sweet. I enjoyed this one immensely, simply for how realistic it is. But I understand if it's not your thing.

Title How to Be Thirty Spoiler
I turned 30 not too long ago, and I must say, this is a really beautiful depiction of the small and big dramas…
What I did not like: That psycho (ex)girlfriend, omg. Like, can someone call the cops please? I totally understand that she is hurt by him suddenly breaking up with her, but her reactions are NOT normal. I wished they had made her just a tad bit less crazy, because the way things played out, I just could not feel sorry for her, not even in the final episode that was supposed to make us see her human side. Ji Won apologizing to her, under those circumstances, makes little to no sense. It gives the impression that it is okay to be an obsessive stalker who cannot accept a breakup and ruins others' lives by posting malicious comments online. For the record, it is NOT okay. She didn't even apologize to Ji Won in turn, although, objectively speaking, she messed up a whole lot more than Ji Won. In the flirting stages, Ji Won really had no idea about her, and even later on, I would have wanted to trust someone I am newly dating. It's weird to ask a new partner too much about 'who's calling?' 'Why do you have that keychain?' etc. so it was perfectly normal to assume he was single. In fact, they broke up immediately after that first kiss/night together, so it cannot actually be labeled as an affair. A mistake, yes, but a mistake he immediately took responsibility for. On the other hand, if there is one person who should apologize to BOTH girls (and didn't actually as far as I recall), it's Seung Yoo. Making it seem like the blame lies more on the girls' shoulders, I did not like.

And then the netizens. Oh my god.... It's her fucking PRIVATE life. I really hate how netizens dictate everything in Korea, it's insane. Without any proof whatsoever, and even then, she could've been dating him normally for all they know (which they sort of were, only the ex-psycho doesn't take no for an answer.). Breaking-up a relationship is sort of the only thing between two people that doesn't need mutual acceptance. Sure, it sucks, and it hurts, but the moment one party decides it's not working anymore, that's that. It's over, no matter how many times the other person says 'I'll never let go of your hand'. Please, get a restraining order.

Ugh, okay, that's it, I swear. Other than those two things, I loved everything about it. It was the right length to not be overbearing, very human, a right mix between comedy, light-hearted and sweet moments and drama. Absolutely recommended!

I turned 30 not too long ago, and I must say, this is a really beautiful depiction of the small and big dramas life has to offer at that point. I loved the three female leads, their individual struggles and steps to adulthood (yes, because even at 30, sometimes we just want to mope like a child!). The voice over narration was very calming and beautiful, and reminded me a lot of my all-time favorite anime NANA. There are some things that I didn't like, mainly in the final episodes. But more of that in a spoiler. All in all, I really enjoyed this and give it a 8.5.

i hope he is doing okay. i hate that they send people to prison with drug addiction. he needs rehabilitation.
Wasn't he sentenced to just probation? So as long as he stays clear of drugs, he won't be going to jail. I hope he manages to become clean. Drugs are so dangerous...

Its such a perfect romcom kdrama to binge watch ..... Just dont know why here in review they have given it low…
Because, objectively, it is a very badly written drama. If all you want is cutesy and cheesy romance, by all means, go for it and it'll make you smile. But the plot really sucks. The 8.7 overall rating for this is really not deserving, though.

couldn't agree more. At some (early) point the writing and story of this drama stopped making any kind of sense. I cannot for the life of me understand the high praise this drama is getting, even for the chemistry. I barely finished it.

... Anyways, "Korean netizens aren't willing to watch her" Have you seen how good the reviews of her new movie…
No debate, huh? I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Behaving badly' is always up to discussion anyway. Committing a crime should naturally not be condoned. But everyone makes simple mistakes. Cutting someone off and ending their career for said mistakes years later is just sad. Korea is taking it too far in many aspects. The idols and actors have it bad enough as it is. No wonder so many cannot take the pressure and end up taking drastic measures. So sad, really. Koreans should be looking for the cause of all these suicides instead of blowing every little thing out of proportion.
Nauriya May 3, 2021
I am honestly shocked and puzzled by how much those actors have to go through. Yes, unprofessionalism in such a field can be really bad for everyone involved in a production, but a person's mental health should always come first. If he acted in such a way, I am sure he was dealing with a lot of stress in between his relationship/private life and work. I just wish this insane 'apology' and 'rumor' culture in SK would stop. Damaging someone's career years later is just silly, unless an actual crime was committed. I really like both of them as actors and hope it won't be too much of a blow to their careers. Everyone makes mistakes and learns from them consequently.

The drama was cute, but at some point I was just begging for it to be over. I skipped through the love-flashbacks…
I was annoyed by how everyone just magically turned good/was forgiven in the end. Young Soo messed up BIG time, and even though I understand why he acted that way and his past made me feel very sorry for him, it really annoyed me that he never properly apologized/explained his backstory. Gae Dong just randomly saves his life and all is good - that's not how it works. It feels like no closure was given to his case, and anyway, if he had just TALKED to Hoon, none of it would've happened in the first place. The final three episodes were just unnecessary drama, especially end of episode 14 where it seems like the WORLD is ending for our three main characters. This whole 'I'll marry her even if she's a commoner' was fated to fail from the start, and I it makes NO sense whatsoever they'd all risk their lives like that. Soo in episode 13 to 15 basically forcing her to his will, and then suddenly it's all not such a big deal and heartbreak anymore. It was just so anticlimatic and predictable. Sooooo... I have a hard time rating this. Somewhere in the middle I enjoyed it for the dynamics, but the beginning and the end were 'meh'. I guess 7.0 will do for now.

Also, Gong Seung Yeon never convinces me with her acting. My only love song and AYHT both made me cringe at her overacting, and unfortunately here as well. She isn't exactly subtle, in neither her happy scenes, nor her sad scenes or the ones that are supposed to feel natural. She's extremely pretty, but I just never feel anything when watching her act, other than 'tone it down a notch'.

On a different note: Byeon Woo Seok was amazing and he is so, so, so handsome. Hope to see him in a good leading role soon.
The drama was cute, but at some point I was just begging for it to be over. I skipped through the love-flashbacks in the final episodes because they were such unnecessary drama. There were so many moments that made me go *facepalm*. I also think the description here is quite misleading, since it's only the second part of the show and not actually the premise anyway.
