I feel like the FL might’ve lost her memories of the ML, which makes their dynamic even more interesting. He clearly loves her more openly because he’s known her for so long, while she doesn’t fully remember him. There’s also this sense of guilt in him like he feels responsible for her and needs to protect her at all costs.

His trauma seems to make him more protective, and while it can come off as obsessive, it’s clear that his intentions are good. He’s always been there for her. What I really love is how she’s slowly starting to fall for him, especially now that she’s seeing a different side of him (his intelligence and brilliance when it comes to solving crimes)

Also I’m really into this “falling in love after marriage” trope lately.

BJS chose to protect HRY in the only way he knew how—and honestly, no one could have expected him to predict that his decision would lead to the loss of their child. He acted with conviction, just as HRY did when she chose to protect humankind, fully aware of the possible consequences. And honestly would Heaven have truly spared her just because she was pregnant? Let’s not forget—he refused to have children with her precisely because he feared it would cost her life.

Did we even watch the same drama? He didn’t lose because he was weak—he lost every battle that involved her because he loved her so much. Honestly, he’s incredibly intelligent. He wasn’t clueless—he was just waiting for her to come clean, which is why he didn’t dig into the truth himself at first.

And let’s be real—he could’ve easily killed that bastard if the attack hadn’t been aimed at her. He held back to protect the one he loves.

Ughhh why are we wasting time on the secondary couple 😭 I didn’t sign up for them! I need more of our leads ASAP. I’m a total sucker for this trope where the male lead goes all pure and innocent

I don’t think so. She would still realise later that she killed her own child—because it was her actions that caused his death. Imagine living with the knowledge that you were the reason he died, even if unintentionally. That kind of pain doesn’t go away. At least with those ten years, she got to love him, hold him, and hear him call her “mom.” Even if it ended in heartbreak, she had something real—something she would’ve never had if she just went ahead and suffered the punishment.

But honestly, BJS leaving her in the mortal realm gave her the chance to be with her son. And despite the pain, I think those ten years with him made her happier than BJS ever was in his own suffering. It’s easy to blame others when you're hurting but let’s not forget, she chose to interfere with fate, knowing full well the consequences.

I rewatched NIF about 30x time and JoL about 15x so i can understand you.. I was disappointed a bit with this one since it is one of my most anticipated drama. Acting and the chemistry is good but storyline-wise not so much 😞

I know its too much but it would be great to see little Zhao and little Yantang. The main plot is driving me crazy too. I have suspects but not enough motives. The two prince and Ji yong is insteresting too. I thought the crown prince is quiet a fool but now that I see him lurking, there’s might be more to him. WTY this idiot is one without backbone. He needs money the most for those stupid paintings and he has the nerve to say no to a job???? You need to work you idiot. No one ask you to be a corrupt officials, what a ridiculous excuse 🙄 just go make some money instead of spending them. He is so lazy but want to live lavishly

I came here to see what’s the scandal about and to my surprise it is not even as bad as I thought? Like surely he’s not the one using the account but his crew right? So why would you say that he’s craving popularity? It doesn’t make sense given his massive talent that has been shown from time to time, IMO he doesn’t even need to do anything to be famous cause he’s already are. I’ve seen some clips of him doing activities and he seems to be so busy to be searching for videos and upload it. It’s stupid to think that WXY is being blamed for others mistakes. I wish best of luck and more opportunities for WXY in the future. He deserves to be in the spotlight. I hope to see more of him, preferably in wuxia or xianxia type of dramas since these are my favourite genres.

My fav drama of the Year, might even be one of the best I’ve watched. This dramas just surpassed all of my expectations. They have so little promotions, I might’ve missed this one out. I’m glad that I decided to give it a try. I’m so grateful that we get an extra, that is so much compare to other dramas I’ve watched. Jealous XiaoHeng is super cute. I love how Xue FangFei managed to bring out the childish side of XiaoHeng 🥰. Thank you to all of the casts and crews for this wonderful work. I hope to see more from Wang XingYue and Wu JinYan in the future🤭🤭.

Em now that’s hard to put. But one thing for sure, they have like zero misunderstanding because of how smart they are. They do this thing where they look at each other, then bingo he knows what she’s thinking and vice versa. So nope no misunderstandings between them. Give it a try, you might like it.

That’s sad to hear. I personally Love them so much. I haven’t enjoyed any of the CPs in cdrama/kdrama/jdrama for a long time. This drama unexpectedly give me that butterflies. The only thing that I hate is the waiting…
