Hou Ming Hao never did season 2 (last year Dec'17-March'18 he filmed season 1 only) and as of now there is no news he will be ever doing season 2 (but i've seen some news about his next drama to be filmed, not WWWY) so if there is season2 (and without him) somebody might be very disappointed...

there will never be season 2 because the director was very clear about the message of the drama what you're "citing" is what he wanted and what he did show in the drama which is a closed work now (that "quote" you've borrowed is a description of the story/idea of the drama WWWY, to show young people at this point of their life) btw, the director has the weibo account where he posts messages, what twitter??.... he read once a book and he was inspired by the story... it's obvious now after we saw the finale that it's a tribute to the amazing guy who lived once, and whom people admired but also felt compassion for his fate, which I guess why the book was written if you're waiting for season 2, then you didn't understand the message of the drama...

please, could you tell me the real meaning of title "人不彪悍枉少年" ? "When We Were Young" is just a casual English title, and i'm curious about the original one - how it should be translated properly?
@Adriana: in several scenes some lines - the KD subs it's not what actors say (that's why sometimes may sound a bit illogical), so those who don't speak Chinese won't know full meaning of original dialogues but it's only in first episodes, some tiny little parts in the latest ones but for most people it won't be noticable ep. 4-12 with many mistakes and some parts like translated rather by a machine than a human being with a brain but you will endure... - the opposite words very often mistaken or bizarre words taken like "metamorphosis" instead of "pervert"...
please, don't get discouraged, it's absolutely worth watching! they did improve around ep.6, the translation for ep. 13-16 is almost satisfactory, so there is hope that last 8 episodes will have decent subs
a little sad is that this drama deserves better, KD leaves out captions, some memories/thoughts are poorly translated with vague meaning so you rather guess it, the part of the content and beauty is lost...
KUKAN is replacing episodes where they muted the audiotrack (ep. 1,3,5 so far) their response: "Due to copyright of the background music, production house need time to replace those music. We are uploading replacement of those episodes." although this is not the same as the original, it's much better now - at least, people can hear actors' voices and it's ost music from the drama not some randomly taken songs [I understand that some of the original soundtrack - they cannot put it on YT so these parts got replaced with different music] (for the original, Tencent is the only source, I guess)
