why did they withdraw from a "speaker concept" ? did they realize it sounded ridiculous?
but what's funny, that part of the video doesn't come from Phantacity, or at least not from any performances from ep 1 to 4 ! it's taken either from another show or from material which was recorded later (ep.4 was the first episode recorded after ep.1 aired)
why didn't they use the footage from the show? they couldn't, because from ep 1 to 4, none of actors wears that kind of earphone
an invisible speaker, an invisible earphone they should patent it
"Decoded" with ENG subs is available on YT:华策影视官方频道 China Huace Film & TV Official Channelplaylist…
the YT subtitles are excellent until ep.8 for ep. 9, previously the file had subtitles automatically generated, later replaced with a new file [subtitles edited] but still the translation looks to me inaccurate and gramatically incorrect I don't know how it goes further, because at that point i'm already bored, so decided to drop the drama
We should probably explain what constitutes an edit. If you add 7 actors to the cast, that counts as 7 edits.…
I can also understand SilverCloud why says "I can't help but feel uncomfortable about it" for "My So Called Love" I linked only Lego Lee there, and I'm shown as the only one/top contributor... why? I didn't create the movie page, it sb's else work... it feels uncomfortable in that way....
We should probably explain what constitutes an edit. If you add 7 actors to the cast, that counts as 7 edits.…
very simplistic adding to the cast a new actor when you create the whole page for him/her (including details+poster) and just linking the show with an actor already existing in database - both actions are counted here equal (as 1 edit) what's more: 1) when you only "link" actor (simple action) - edit is counted sometimes on the show page, the other time on the actor's page (cannot guess why...) 2) when you create a page for an actor and link with the show (complex action) - edit is never counted on the show page, but displayed on the actor's page instead (simply as "2 edits"...) it's not reflected on show pages as it should be, and it's very confusing personally I don't care, but you will have a headache, Skye-N-Rain, when people start questioning....
"Many people question why I am able to be on this stage. But I want to say, everyone can only be young once in a life time, and I don't want there to be regrets. So, when facing challenges, it's just "I dare not", but never "I can't".
During the first round, I stressed too much that I made a mistake. But I didn't get discouraged , instead I chose to face myself. Later during the position battle, I accidentally got skipped and was put on a waitlist. Despite of that, I didn't feel wronged or mistreated. Because now I know, letting go is a type of growth. Only when you let go, you can truly enjoy the moment of dancing.
This is my most beloved stage, for it is so cruel yet so real. I will apply my attitude toward dancing when facing all kinds of challenges in my life.
Hou Ming Hao's full speech at the end of ep. 7: Chinese original + ENG translation (new ver. 2019) - see "spoiler" below (recorded actually last week 29.08, but for obvious reasons added to ep. 7 with live performance recorded during the night 04.08/05.08)
btw, the show is overnight live recorded (stage dances) with a real audience there the audience allowed in only 18+, official fan clubs receive some quotas of places to distribute to the public
[edited 19-12-30: new translation of the speech available (old text replaced)]
it seems to me like Jerry has withdrawn from the show (?), on YOUKU official weibo they say this Sunday is the last "battle" (of "three seats") and there is no mention or poster of Jerry with the 24-hour intensive training, it must have been too tough on him, I think...
now, what comes to my mind is that actors got even scripts for what to say and how to act in bts videos (preparation/interviews), everything fully directed and controlled (and fake)
Half of Wowkie Zhang's performance doesn't look like shot in the backstage studio (they never showed it there, where he enters it from cannot be seen either). Only for the 2nd part they have a built space there. I bet the 1st part was pre-recorded. Also half of the music is not by the orchestra but simply a playback. And just seconds before he "cries" there is a change of camera - only a coincidence? I doubt - every change of camera is the simplest way for cutting & joining the video, thus for hiding the moment when eyedrops were applied for fake tears to appear...
Faye Wong's explanation: "There will be people there holding a stereo. It is a speaker of this size" https://nsa39.casimages.com/img/2018/08/31//180831075328712368.jpg https://nsa39.casimages.com/img/2018/08/31/180831081541705659.jpg "a speaker" my foot! and there is no sound feedback, no interference, after-sound or noise from it what's more, actors (and staff) change clothes/places within five seconds and there is no noise from any microphones either "the speaker", the microphones and how the sound is recorded - why not shown?
to pin a tiny micro under Yin Zheng's shirt (to record his heartbeat or neck pulse, I suppose...) - it takes them at least 6 seconds in real time before the recording Jerry Jia during his performance changes the costume (upper garment) within 3 seconds, and he doesn't need a micro to be fixed?
should I believe that Lou Yi Xiao (ep. 4) singing a song flawlessly was running in that minute from the studio to the stage more than 50 meters away? when they show backstage footage of her running, the sound of her voice is not as good and crystal sharp as in MV
I'm disgusted with Wong Faye who says to her guest (after Lou Yi Xiao's "live performance") that they won't show a real frame /process of filming/ because it would affect/interrupt viewers, and they won't show how it's done because a nonprofessional cannot understand it...
To cover cheating with an insult, the viewers are simply too stupid, so they don't need to explain
In raw footage (view from above) when Lou Yi Xiao exits the studio room, there is no person around her to hold the speaker "the speaker" is not running behind or next to her towards the stage she doesn't wear earphone (they put it on her later at the stage gate) and still she's ideally synchronized with the orchestra in the concert hall Are we that naive for Faye Wong?
That's a pity because actors are good, and some stories made in a very creative way but i cannot enjoy it
about the agency (to clarify): Black Gold launched its sub-brand company BG TALENT on 2016-08-19, the official notice in Chinese: "黑金正式推出旗下子品牌公司 黑金经纪 BG TALENT 将致力于打造新人偶像经纪的工业化操作。在完善自身产业发展布局的同时,将系统化的为优质新人偶像提供包含选拔、培训、打造、推出等的一整套运营策略。据悉,黑金还将围绕偶像经纪业务陆续展开更多的战略合作"
further recording of "Shake It Up" in recent days (08/16-08/18) Hou Ming Hao still in a game but the routine is exhausting, the flight Yinchuan-Shanghai on 08/15 was late, and at 23:00 he had to rush to the dance studio to practice... [ep 8 aired 180909]
I really feel like fooled with this one... I thought it would be REALLY live but to me it looks like a big cheating.
The short videoclips where guests perform and sing are allegedly recorded live, in the backstage built studio (connecting rooms/spaces) while the orchestra plays live in the concert hall. [China Hunan TV description google translated: "No editing, no re-entry, one chance, one step in place, singing in one "live broadcast"]
Maybe people in China believe it, but I don't. Unless somebody can explain to me, how it is possible when: 1) performers have no tv or concert (head) microphones 2) being in the backstage studio the performers cannot hear music played by the orchestra - they have no earphones or whatsoever, yet none of the singers is out of tune even a little bit (!) and how it is possible that: 3) the sound/vocal recorded is crystal clear and there are no noises audible - songs sound like studio recorded despite the fact that not only a singer is moving around but the whole team of camera operators is moving there too (!)
I really don't know whether I watch the City of Magical Music or a Copperfield illusion.
If this is played "live" by actors, I wonder what kind of drugs Ma Si Chun (ep. 2) took to produce such a flood of tears while performing. Seriously, was it a play or a hysterical fit? Why He Jiong and Faye Wong act unnatural in the audience ? Do they use artificial tears?
The show is not live aired, between the recording and the tv broadcast there is a lapse of about two weeks.
