Don't worry, it gets better. At least for me, as you said it felt a bit boring until the 6th episode, but then the drama kept me on edge until the end.

The last three episodes are so funny.
At the first episodes Xu Yan was constantly worried and calculating, never wanting others to find the truth. But now, she is more healthy, her character is more authentic, she lets herself be more free. She has improved her relationship with her sister and made some friends. It was so sad when she had no friends to attend her wedding, not even one to be real with, even with her lies.
