I completely understand your concern because, theoretically, once a student, always a student. Even if their students grow up, teachers will always remember them as the students they once taught.

However, if we do get a second season, I imagine the romance would develop very gradually. One of the main issues with a teacher-student relationship is the maturity and power imbalance. In this case, though, if U Su were to fall for Eui Ju, it would be years later, when she is already an adult with her own career and life experience —not when she was his student.

That's why I personally don't see it as much of a problem, provided the story handles it carefully and makes it clear that his feelings are for the person she has become, not for the student she once was.

I felt the same when watching those emotional scenes, but i previously watched her acting in The Glory and Veil of Shadows and she was doing a very good job there, so i think it's not her fault.
