I listened Last Christmas today. It went like this: last Christmas I gave you my heart and the very next day you gave it away. This year to save it from tears I’ll give it to someone special. My Christmas wish this year is for JP to sing this song. Two weeks after the heartbreak I still cannot get over JP. I hope to see KSH in a better romance drama and have someone love him wholeheartedly.
Imagine if Dalmi just pretended she didn't know about the letters thing in ep 9? After comparing hjp's handwriting…
Your idea is briliant. I would love to see more reflections from DM because she appeared pathetic in the second half. This leads me to emphasize again how they had to ruin every character for the dodal endgame. But I understand the problem was KSH and his natural chemistry with Suzy. If they had given them more scenes, then the backlash in the end would have been worse. Anyway, with few scenes, HJP made us suffer so much after the drama ended.
Selfless is something what you did without hoping to gain any recognition nor receive anything in return, just…
I agree. What made this DS character unconvincing for me is the writer chose cliche events to help him and put JP in bad lights. He didn’t need to fight hard for his love. For example, grandma eyes. How come DS was so luck that he met her there in the hospital? He was lucky because grandma chose his Name for the letters. But he cheated to win the medal. He was lucky because DM found him online and sent him messages. He was lucky because he came to DM first and JP had to help him from behind. He was lucky because she took his hands thinking he was the DS in the letters. He was lucky that Saha told him about the ransomware. .. he didn’t give up something real to show that he’S the living buddhda. Despite all his luck, he was insecure towards JP and lied. Everything he has done for her, his love for her he told everybody But not her. All the times he asked: What do you like about me? So strange. I have never seen any first male lead with that much luck and ep 14, he still resented DM, while he didn’t contact her for 3 years. They were in the mountain, so cold but he didn’t even put her a jacket or blanket throughout the night and early morning. JP made coffee and changed the air conditioner temperature. But she loved DS just because... like what?

I don’t understand how weak she became after meeting DS. Like in ep 2, we saw her improvisation. In ep 14, she cried and cried. So tired watching her teary and blank eyes. And How could she and DS never talk through the lies about the letters? Everything about her seems shallow to the point we really want someone else for JP. It’s a pity because like you said I really think Jidal are soulmates :(((
I am watching revolutionary love and the female lead is really strong there. The first and second male leads both suffer so much. I thought it is just another cliche drama about cinderella and chaebol, But it is actually quite fun. I love all the cast. What could be worse than the later part of startup :)). Then I think about DS and DM
I personally don't agree with the fact that they changed the endgame midway of the drama. I'm not here to criticize…
Yes. It is so painful that I need to come here and hang out with you. To me it still doesn’t make sense why an experienced writer could write poorly like this. The love story is so boring and the timeskip is the worst like watching another drama... I still feel so bad for JP!

Nice points. I agree with you, coming from my own experience and some psychology materials as well. When I think about DS and DM, they both are extrinsic motivations to each other. I would like to see them grow together But have their own interests and motivations rather than tightly dependent on each other like that. What if DS fails to be her trophy and pride, would they still be together? I was thinking about the Jidal endgame because love is pure, kind, patient and care. JP and DM care a lot for each other. I really think that they cut lots of scenes for JP and DM because of their chemistry. Still failed to convince many people about Dodal :)
They never said anything further than "Why do you like me" "Just because" and then got married. I like the Frozen…
I think few pictures of the wedding are so forced. Maybe it was for commercial purpose again. But by doing so, It was really like to tell viewers supporting Jidal to shut up and accept the ending. How could we accept it when they knew each other for few months and didn’t contact each other for three years and Dalmi hasnt known about Ds’ secrets. For me a more acceptable ending would be they are just a couple in the end and we can have season 2. The final episode contains lots of forced developments.

I haven’t watch love alarm, But TOF is a light and fun drama. The way they built the second lead character was great. He’S always gentle, cares for the fl and takes care of her plant. He suffers great pain seeing her taking care of the other man, but never does bad things to prevent her. He’s really her husband. The first lead is not mean as well. In this way, it is so hard for me to accept DS as DM’S husband in the end.
I am shook... I re-watched the last scene of the show, and I realize that SDM is crying out for help. Let me explain.Keep…
I rewatched the scenes which you mentioned. I think the arrangements of the pictures and tables were a bit off, kind of show-off and lacking depth. DM’s smile and her eyes for DS in the elevator were not the best one. But after all I guess the production team and actors were all tired after a long series. So mistakes happened. Otherwise, what you are writing here may be for season 2 :).

When I watched this drama, I thought it would be like Tale of fairy, so the second lead could get the girl in the end, while she may kiss the first lead first. But then, watching it again, I think they really intended Dodal endgame right from the beginning of the production. However, the way DS and DM characters developed seemed strange. I think Suzy eyes for JP are also a problem. Yes, something is not right with the execution of this DS character. But I believe they could have done better if they focused on making DM a central figure/heroine with a business vision, rather than depending a bit too much on these two guys and her connections with IJ and her step father.
I think JP felt something special about her, maybe someone familiar of the past, so he followed her from distance.…
That behavior is very strange indeed. When he came back, she left. I was shocked a bit. I thought would it be a turning point? But then the next day the writer let them be together again. It felt like I’m watching another drama. And after 3 years, another drama :))

I would say the scene at the restaurant indicates poor timing, but consistent with JP character. He did ask her for the permission to talk though. However it is consistent with his character as a straightforward person. Like when he realized he liked her, he told grandma about that. His flaw is he didn’t have many people to show him what love is and how to show love, so he made it too simple. But as a viewer, I was surprisingly touched, my bias?
What I found interesting is JP is always direct about his feeling: I like her, I like you in front of DM. But DS asked her three times why do you like me? What do you like about me? But in front of other people, he told them he liked her, loved her forever. It feels strange to me when they say you are my pride, my trophy... maybe I am biased because of my life experience, but I would question the guy who asked me like DS because of the insecurity that would happen when one is in a relationship with a person like that.
Another point is from my kdrama experience, usually when a crisis happens, the male lead often lets the female lead some time to think or they are apart for a while. After that, they feel like missing each other very much and later scenes to resolve their problems become emotional and fluttering. In this drama, I didn’t feel that, because DS followed her everywhere. I don’t know why the writer made him like that. I liked him in the beginning, but after ep 4, I didn’t like him anymore. I think many people have similar opinion with me on this.
don't mean to start a war .... but HJP also stalked SDM lol in ep1. what's worse is that they weren't even friends…
I think JP felt something special about her, maybe someone familiar of the past, so he followed her from distance. I think this can happen in real life, when you are trying to find someone you didn’t meet for a long time.
For DS, DM had requested him to give her some space. Of course he could follow her to protect her, but sitting close and overhearing her conversation with another woman is not good. In the morning, he was already waiting for her outside. I feel like if he’s sorry, he should have given her some time to think and given himself sometime to show his struggles (e.g., what if she still likes the DS in the letter, what if he was the one who was selfish...). If he had done so, then viewers may feel more empathy to him. However, he appeared entitled to her feelings and love. So many viewers are not happy about that.

It’s interesting indeed. It’s a pity that they wasted everything like that. So it could mean that DS went against all odds to win the girl’s heart. But everything was just working out for him so well. 15 years later, JP met DM and followed her first, but DM was the one who found DS. She took his hands and kissed him...
I can't shake this feeling of being robbed. I'm over the heartbreak of watching HJP not end up with SDM and instead…
I watched ep 1 with my husband again today because it’s on Netflix in my country. The ep is really nice and touching. However, I noticed that a piece of cherry flower flying and passing every man in the drama and only landing on DS’ head. I think they intended the endgame for DS from the beginning. Given this story was written for two years, I guess somehow when the writer almost finished writing, she changed the endgame. But whatever reason, I didn’t understand why she kept DS like a second lead character and let him to do bad things that many people couldn’t sympathize with. Overall, for this endgame, she compromised all characters in this story. I still feel sad because the chemistry between Suzy and KSH and the beautiful letters would make us a beautiful story to remember.
