Yes! I didn't watch her dramas yet and didn't know about Kiku at all before VoS, but I keep abreast of c-dramas in general for the last 3 years and I have an impression, that she doesn't have a hit or at least good drama with strong script in her filmography yet. So I hope VoS will be really a good quality drama to boost her acceptance in pro community.

As for haters and fan wars. Even Bailu who seems a public favorite, also had very tough periods of hate and scandals. For example, after dramas with Xu Kai, she was stigmatized as a frivolous girl who is too lighthearted with male actors and so on. But now she's in top5 of the most lovable and accepted c-actresses.
