It's a proof why idol dramas are the most popular among young audience and international fans. And why idol actors are afraid of ruin perfectly handsome picture and disappoint their fans. But I barely see ppl keep watching only idol dramas after 10-15 years or 100+ dramas, cause sooner or later you get tired of their similarity.
I felt much more emotions during first episodes of SYLM than during the last 10 latest idol dramas I saw. So it's a pity ppl narrow their watcher's experience just because they want only fairytale, not realistic life on their screens.
Finally could watch 1-3 eps. And I love it so far! I've gotten so used to choppy and confusing editing in c-dramas, that watching simple and clear storytelling, yet layered and meaningful for modern society, feels so refreshing! Def it's like watching a long movie.
I'm very impressed by uncle Bing 😍 So good, charismatic, and natural in playing a "sad clown", and oh what a deep voice! I feel so invested in Fang Haowen's story.
