Well, nowadays it's hard to build a strategy for education > profession > career when everything is changing every 5 years. Ikr, Ji Ling is a very unique character for c drama and I can't imagine him portrayed by anyone else. His romantic dynamics with LWY is very special and unique as well. I'd love to watch another drama with this type of romance dynamics, but usually ml and fl types are pretty standard in romance dramas. Long Shen is a more typical "cold CEO" type as well ))
