And fantasy dramas are still interesting for me although they also quite similar. So I'm thankful to GJM who set the dark style trand in fantasy genre. After MJTY many others started to make darker dramas, so ppl just jealous as always

That's fair for all chinese costume dramas in that case, esp for historical dramas about palace intrigues, they are absolutely the same with same plots and styles and costumes, even villains aka ministers always the same. After first 5-6 dramas in this genre I can't watch it anymore, cause it's all the same lol
But somehow this genre keeps receiving high ratings and top rankings among watchers. I don't get it )))
